The latest round of speculation about the 2016 presidential race stars former Florida Governor Jeb Bush whose Republican nomination could potentially lead to a matchup between two powerhouse political families. Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Bush in a hypothetical matchup, but half of voters are less likely to vote for Bush because of his familys history in the White House.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that if the 2016 presidential election were held today, 47% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose Clinton, while 33% would opt for Bush. Fourteen percent (14%) prefer some other candidate, while six percent (6%) are undecided.

Good points!
Thanks for the injection of optimism.
I needed it.
TX just launced a “George P.” Bush on Tuesday with 73 percent of the Republican primary vote in lock-step. Jebbie will soon like the next of the invincible “losers”.
I think Hillary had a smll stroke and won’t be healthy enough to run. Jeb...he’s sending out signals that he will run.
‘Jeb Bush murdered Terri Schiavo.’
BUMP!
No more Bushs! No more Clintons!
All politics aside for the moment - and forgetting Bush, but Clinton looks like HELL.
She is seriously going to have to have a major makeover to make a viable run. Lose weight, fix her hair, and get some sleep. The SOS pace and travel must have killed her. She is going to be how old in 2 and then 6 years time? She won’t be an easy sell.
At least I hope not. :)
I think Hillary is going to run a weekend at Bernie’s campaign and resign shortly after taking office for health reasons.
Her vice presidential pick will be the REAL nominee.
Just a few weeks ago, a FoxNews news report indicated that 50% are still blaming the economic woes on GW Bush.
The Bush name is still toxic.
Who, that voted for Obama, are going to rush to vote for Jeb? Zero, probably.
I still have doubts that Hillary Clinton will run. If she does, however, I don’t see her having any easier run. Some younger upstart may come out of nowhere and challenge her second trip to her coronation.
MSM, including FoxNews, are lauding Christie, still.
But then I'm still trying to process the fact that Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House.
None of the above.
I wish the press would sit this one out.
Proof that I will not vote for Jeb!
Well duh! Nobody’s gonna vote for Jeb.
With Ras last prediction in 2012, this probably means Bush wins by 7
Thanks Maggie, Can you find any articles that show this fine golf course our Man of the people is spending the weekend gated in with the 1%ers
The White House has not said where Obama will stay on his weekend escape from Washingtons frigid weather, but local media reports said he, his wife and their two daughters would be staying at the Ocean Reef Club, a private membership club set on 2,500 tropical acres on the northern tip of Key Largo.
For avid golfers like Obama, the property boasts two championship 18-hole golf courses. The club also has a swimming lagoon, tennis courts, a spa and fitness center, a private airport and more than a dozen restaurants among its varied offerings
A bush vs a c**t is not a choice.
Another few weeks and another poll will magically show Jeb trailing by only a few points or even ahead.
I’ve seen this stunt over and over again. Won’t be long until the GOPe begins this meme: “Polls show that Jeb is the only Republican that can beat Hillary.”
Described in a Miami Herald blog as about as far away from middle class as you can get in Key Largo, the Ocean Reef Club is home to some of the nations wealthiest families.
Many of the club members dont want their peaceful enclave to be disturbed by a man who will bring a flood of publicity, Secret Service and unwelcome visitors, said a Sneed source. And they have been very vocal about expressing their feelings to the Ocean Reef board.
Added another Sneed source: They dont feel welcoming to someone who they feel disdains their largess and lifestyle.
On Tuesday, Sneed tipped that a brace of helicopters would transport the president and his entourage to the wealthy gated community. Although the White House would not comment, an Ocean Reef board spokesman verified by phone that the president was coming.
On Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration issued temporary flight restrictions over Key Largo from Friday through Sunday so pilots will avoid the area, according to their website.
Five helicopters, 57 Secret Service agents? Obamas trip to a posh golf club not many know about
A reader submits the following disclosure released by Ocean Reef Club, a country club, which very much unlike America’s 35 million food-stamp recipients, has roughly a $35 million net worth cutoff for members, who enjoy such amenities as 100 foot yachts, a private airport, and two golf courses. It is precisely in connection with golf that we see these very needy multi-millionaires follow in Wall Street’s footsteps and proceed to redistribute wealth away from those who actually work for their money, to those who merely use the dollar as a temporary (or otherwise) replacement for one-ply Cottonelle.

Do any famous people live or belong to the club?
One of the great features of a private club such as Ocean Reef is the privacy. Many of our members can come with their family and feel that they are home, away from prying eyes and curious onlookers. Someone famous, whether from business or entertainment is just like everyone else here at the club, a member.

What difference does it make? Who in their right mind really believes Jeb is going to run for President?
I shipped this to a few friends, hope to see it in the media soon.
Thanks Maggie
I'd like the bucket, please, if Mr. Creosote is no longer using it.
