A chastened Rep. Darrell Issa says he has apologized to a fellow senior lawmaker for abruptly cutting off his microphone during a hearing Wednesday before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
Issa, R-Vista, said he made a personal apology on Thursday to the man he silenced, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md.
“Mr. Cummings is a member of Congress who works very hard for his constituents,” he said.

Issa should be next to go. Don’t think for a moment that Cummings wouldn’t have done the same thing if he had had the gavel and he damn sure wouldn’t have apologized for it.
The stench of Republican weakness is overpowering. And all too familiar.
His usefulness is nil. GOPe opportunity lost time and time again.

Cummings may as well have the chairmanship. Issa is a damned disgrace and with any luck his constituents will primary the dolt and send him packing.
He has proven to be utterly worthless at every turn. This is pathetic, but sadly it is totally predictable. In fact I predicted Issa would be apologizing within a week and wouldn’t do a damn thing to Lerner. So far I’m batting 500 and it’s only been one day.
They are the weakest Republicans in memory.
I wonder if the new kids on the block, Cruz-Rubio-Paul and potentially Christie, will do any better.

Issa expressed himself well on Meagan Kelly’s program.
The republicans must keep their testicles in a jar on the night stand like dentures.
It’s ALL theater for public consumption. What Issa attempted to placate we Conservatives and what Cummings did to create a manufactured firestorm to get rid of Issa altogether and cow the GOP Judenrats even further.
Issa was NEVER supposed to get close to having the truth made public. Not that Obama’s Praetorian media would have reported it anyway.
We The People have no civil recourse to stop this implementation of tyranny and we have NO representation in the Federal Beast save a very brave few.
Boner needs to be retired; Issa to spend more time clipping coupons.
