Let's hope the GOP doesn't come up with another Mormon. I threw away my vote that year.

The Mormon faith believes that Jesus and Lucifer were BROTHERS. How IN THE WORLD could I EVER vote for a Mormon?? They are nuts.

They DENY that Jesus was God, believing that HE was also a created creature, like Lucifer. Lucifer was just an angel, a beloved angel, the "light bearer." Jesus was/is/always will be GOD. How wrong can they be?

Oh well. Not a thing I can do about it.

I find the Mormon bashing on this forum quite disturbing. As a Jew, I could make an argument that Christians are just as strange and weird in their beliefs as you make the Mormons out to be. Every Mormon I have ever met has been nothing but gracious and kind. They are taught from a young age to be self sufficient, prepared, devoted to family, and have a very keen business sense which is more than I can say for the average American. Who cares if they believe Jesus and Lucifer were brothers? You Christians and Mormons believe in hell, that is silly as there is no such thing as hell. Does this disqualify all Christians from getting my vote? Absolutely not, as whether there is or is not a hell makes no difference when deciding who is POTUS. Is there no room here for minor differences in insignificant religious beliefs. Christians and Mormons have far more in common than maybe you care to admit. Romney was by no means perfect or even a conservative. If he had won, maybe, just maybe, if nothing else we would be on a path to monetary and fiscal policy. This does not disqualify his obvious faults and I'm not gonna make the argument excusing them either. All I am saying is Romney was a far better human being than the sub human piece of garbage we have now.

Just for the record I wanted Palin, Cain, or Bachmann in 2012. Although Gingrich is an incredibly flawed big govt Republican, I wanted him in the debates against Barry Soetero to expose him in front of the entire world as the complete phony and fabricated know nothing fraud we all know him to be as Newt can sound like a true conservative when he wants to.

In all seriousness, those of us that stayed at home in 2012 secured all 3 branches of government to the DemocRATS for the foreseeable future. I predict we will lose the House in 2014 and the White House in 2016. Soetero has succeeded in creating a dependent majority underclass.

Back to the point, all people of faith need to band together to defeat Muslims, atheists, radical homosexuals(obviously I am not one of these), environmentalists, scientologists, communists, nazis, socialists, greens, and democrats. (I know socialists, greens, communists, and nazis all = democrats as there is no difference).

So how about we limit our bashing to those that would subjugate us and not base that assumption on things that don't matter like wearing special underwear.

I may not quite grasp how Jesus was God’s Son, but I am told that He was and I accept it.

There are a number of things I expect to ask about and have explained to me in heaven regarding religion.

My take on all this is that there are probably fine people of many different religions. They may not believe as you and I do on religion, by they have high moral fiber and are living up to what they believe in.

As long as they do have high moral fiber, and don’t believe in something that would destroy Christianity in the process, I could vote for them.

As for Romney, the guy was just too much of a go along to get along guy for me. Having said that, just about 250 million adult humans would have been better than the idiot stick we have in there now.
