California's unemployment rate hovers around 10% with over 1.5 million members of the labor force without work. The state's debt sits at an astronomical $419 billion and is expected to surpass $420 billion by the end of 2014. As of today's date, California spends $72 billion more than it takes in. Dividing California into six separate states could also result in the state's current debt being divided into more manageable segments. More importantly, dividing California could alleviate the state's looming tax burden.
One of Draper's intentions is to create a new and competitive environment between the six states. Each region of California has its own priorities, such as the south and its concerns about immigration. A competition and division of priorities could solve California's most problematic situations, like aging infrastructure and declining education. According to Draper, each new state could address the problems that are unique to its residents without bearing the burden of improving the state's other regions.

Just for the record I wanted Palin, Cain, or Bachmann in 2012. Although Gingrich is an incredibly flawed big govt Republican, I wanted him in the debates against Barry Soetero to expose him in front of the entire world as the complete phony and fabricated know nothing fraud we all know him to be as Newt can sound like a true conservative when he wants to.
In all seriousness, those of us that stayed at home in 2012 secured all 3 branches of government to the DemocRATS for the foreseeable future. I predict we will lose the House in 2014 and the White House in 2016. Soetero has succeeded in creating a dependent majority underclass.
Back to the point, all people of faith need to band together to defeat Muslims, atheists, radical homosexuals(obviously I am not one of these), environmentalists, scientologists, communists, nazis, socialists, greens, and democrats. (I know socialists, greens, communists, and nazis all = democrats as there is no difference).
So how about we limit our bashing to those that would subjugate us and not base that assumption on things that don't matter like wearing special underwear.

I may not quite grasp how Jesus was God’s Son, but I am told that He was and I accept it.
There are a number of things I expect to ask about and have explained to me in heaven regarding religion.
My take on all this is that there are probably fine people of many different religions. They may not believe as you and I do on religion, by they have high moral fiber and are living up to what they believe in.
As long as they do have high moral fiber, and don’t believe in something that would destroy Christianity in the process, I could vote for them.
As for Romney, the guy was just too much of a go along to get along guy for me. Having said that, just about 250 million adult humans would have been better than the idiot stick we have in there now.

You are so wrong. My husband and I lived in Saudi Arabia for five years and we worked with Saudis for all five years.
NEVER once was I told to convert to Islam. NEVER once was it EVER suggested to me to convert.
In fact, we had a priest, vicar (for the six Anglicans on camp) and Protestant minister (for all the various Protestant denominations) living on our camp. They were officially called "special teachers." THAT is where I picked up the habit of DAILY MASS....imagine.
My co-worker (Harry, an Indian Catholic) got very annoyed with me for going to Sunday 9:00 A.M. Mass because it cut into my work day...EVEN THOUGH I made up the time during my lunch hour. The "holy day" was Friday so all "Sunday" services were on Friday, except the Catholic one because Catholics have DAILY Mass. So, my co-worker told on me to my Saudi boss. I will never forget what Mohammad Hussein said:
He said: "Harry, God is number one. There is always time for God. Mary (not my real name) can go to pray any time she wants to."
Hah, I don't know WHOSE jaw dropped open farther or faster, Harry's or mine. So I did attend Sunday Mass, and since I was ALLOWED to, I went to DAILY Mass. It's a habit I still have today, 30 years later. Thank you, Mohammad Hussein! NOT ONE SINGLE SAUDI thought I should be a Muslim. We WERE "people of the Book," and were therefore acceptable.
Jews were also people of the Book. We had a Jewish physical therapist in the KSA. The HINDUS weren't welcome in Saudi Arabia because they weren't people of the Book (the Bible, of course), only Indians of the Book.
So PLEASE try not to paint ALL Muslims with your anti-Muslim paint brush! Thanks.

It's a beautiful day here in California (Bay Area) but then, you probably GUESSED that.
I don't even HAVE a parka, mittens, snow boots, snow hat or cap, whatever you call it, and my cars ALWAYS start. BRRRRRRRR!!!

Well, as they say, YOU HAVE IT MADE IN THE SHADE.
We grew tomatoes (green onions and lettuce) in our back yard in San Francisco, in half barrels. My husband MADE these nifty wire protectors, like a "hat" for the half barrel to protect the tomatoes from ALL living creatures: bugs, snails, birds, skunks, raccoons, and back then, even a few deer in the woods (in our city green belt) across the street.
Our back yard faced DUE SOUTH and had protection from all wind. There was ALWAYS plenty of light.
Any kind of onion is GREAT to grow. There's not an animal alive that will eat onions: PURE human food.
I will paint all Islam with a broad brush as their book the quran demands either I convert to Islam or be killed or live under its subjugation. I don’t give a rats ass if individual followers of Islam don’t act upon this on their own. If a mullah or some other Islamic authority figure ordered them to do so they would carry it out.
Lets not forget our light hearted banter began with you painting all Mormons with a broad brush. But no where in their book does it say to execute those unwilling to convert. They do have an aggressive recruiting/conversion program as do most if not all the various Christian sects. Jews do not seek to recruit or convert. Either way the alternative to conversion is not death with Mormons and Christians. The only alternatives to Islam are to become one, be subjugated by them, die, or defeat them. Quran 8:39, 9:29, 9:5, 9:11, 9:56, 9:57. The verses above prove my point
Islam is not a religion, it is a blood thirsty ideology like any other form of totalitarianism.
