Egypt Deports More Code Pink Pro-Hamas Agitators

Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin made it back to the US tonight after her detention and expulsion from Egypt. She appears to have her arm in a sling.

More far left Western agitators were detained at the Cairo airport on Wednesday.

The government of Egypt is not backing down in the face of Code Pink leader Susan ‘Medea’ Benjamin following through on her threat to “make a scandal” for them if she was deported from Cairo this week.

Nobel Peace Prize recipient Mairead Maguire and her fellow traveler Ann Patterson were deported after arriving in Egypt Tuesday night, according to a report from Agence France-Presse. The women had traveled to Cairo to join Benjamin and about 100 leftist and Islamist women in a campaign to lift controls on the Hamas terrorist enclave Gaza.

An Arab media report said that eight additional women from the U.S., Belgium and Switzerland had been deported.

Code Pink retweeted photos from detained agitators being held at the Cairo airport showing several dozen of them huddled together in the concourse.

Code Pink announced Wednesday evening that Benjamin was back in the U.S. Code Pink also announced the group is planning to hold a protest at the Embassy of Egypt in D.C. at noon Thursday.

PJ Media reports a group called Stop the ISM is claiming credit for informing the Egyptian Embassy to Code Pink’s plans thereby causing the deportations. Bully for them. It’s good to see people getting involved.

As this article was going to ‘press’, Code Pink sent out a press release blaming Israel for their plight (When in doubt, anti-Semites blame the Jews):

“Dozens of members of an international coalition of 100 women who planned to visit Gaza for International Womens Day are currently being detained at the airport in Cario (sic), Egypt. They were told by the Egyptian authorities they cannot enter the country because they pose as a “security threat”. The whereabouts of three American women and 4 French women detained in the airport by authorities are unknown, and 2 other American women are with a group of about 40 French and Belgian women in a public area of the airport that the police have roped off.

“The youngest delegate is 18 years old and the oldest is 84. While waiting in the airport the women have set up a mock “checkpoint” to mimic those along the Egyptian and Gaza border, and they are singing songs and waving Palestinian flags with “Free Palestine” signs visible.

““The Egyptian authorities are stopping us because Israel has ordered them not to let us go to Gaza to be in solidarity with the women there. They did not tell us in advance they wouldn’t let us through, in fact they said they would, so they must have been under immense pressure in the last few days from Israel, and maybe even the US,” said one of the trip organizers from the French delegation, Olivia Zemo…”

Befuddled old hippies, brain-muddied with soft living, armed with pink caps and banners, take on real fighters. Fog meets Reality.

Not believing that our Constitution is a suicide pact, our founding fathers would have deported people like Code Pink.

They should link up with the international whale guys. They have the same mo, could end up in the same prisons and save a lot of money using one PR firm/ flotilla/ banner. Oh, and have the same impact.

Too bad they can’t deport them to Papua-New Guinea with signs around their necks that say “Dinner”.

Should have taken them straight to Gaza, pushed them over the border into Gaza and then refuse to let them leave, ever.

I just have one question to that. Since when do the Egyptians give a rip what the Israelis think?
