"John is a friend, and a good man. He's earned considerable respect in the Senate. We have not agreed on everything, but we have agreed on the vast majority of issues. Together, we're a strong and effective team for Texas," Cruz wrote, later adding that he is "proud" to endorse Cornyn.

Well this is it. Cruz is a RINO. Guess its time to throw him aside and move to the next flavor of the month.
“Well, now that thats over, John can go back to figuring out a way to sneak amnesty through and screwing up the GOPs chances of retaking the Senate.”
That, and he can resume using TED CRUZ’s back as his own personal Cutlery Rack.
People on FR could use a bit more reality
Politics will always be thus
I doubt there were many.
I suspect most of them couldn’t wait to visit the polling place and post their FB/Tweet about voting for Abortion Barbie.
Reality was that Cruz had said he wasn’t going to endorse in races with incumbents.
Cruz is just following thru with his previous statement.
Ooops! Big setback for the keyboard warriors here who have no clue about how politics works. The same dumbasses who refused to vote for Romney and gave us 4 more yeras of obamanation.
You are a more trusting soul than I am, brother!
I was smelling RATs all over the place last night. How the hell was AP able to call for McCornyn with barely 2% of the vote in?
A bucket of cold water!
Not surprising really. Cornyn is the GOP candidate whether we like it or not.
Right and as much as I hate RINOs, I really really abhor Democrats.
I assume they did exit polls but I don’t know that.
Because the early vote totals are both a heavy proportion of the total and a reliable predictor of how Election Day votes will split.
Nothing sinister about it.
Makes sense.. Cornyn’s been chosen to go forward.
In other words, “Oh crap, the SOB won. I’d better patch things up with him.”
Oh your right. It is tough having principles and sticking with them. Some of you guys would vote for Obama if he had an “R” after his name and don’t lie and say you wouldn’t.
And you are from Wisconsin. Cornyn will be our senator and that beats any Democrat running against him in November. It would be ridiculous for Cruz to create trouble between him and Cornyn now. Cruz will continue to follow his principles in the senate and if Cornyn opposes him, that is the time to take on Cornyn - over issues, not over the fact he will still be senator.
How the hell was AP able to call for McCornyn with barely 2% of the vote in?
Exit polls. They do that all the time. I remember when they announced that Romney won Utah in the General and less than 1 percent of the votes were counted.
Puke, puke and puke. We wanted change. So, why he still here?
People's perceptions of Romney were accurate. The man is a RINO. At best...
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
