WASHINGTONU.S. Vice President Joe Biden, in a call Monday to Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, urged Russia to pull back its forces from Ukraine and to support the "immediate deployment" of international monitors.
Mr. Biden, according to a summary of the call released by the White House, also told Mr. Medvedev that Russia needs to start a "meaningful political dialogue" with the Ukrainian government.
Mr. Biden's call with the Russian prime minister follows a 90-minute discussion Saturday between President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin and underscores the Obama administration's efforts to find a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian unrest.
Obama administration officials said over the weekend that the U.S. was considering a range of penalties, including sanctions, to punish Russia for seizing territory in Ukraine's Crimea region. The U.S. also has discussed with Russia and international partners the possibility of deploying international observers to help quell unrest in Ukraine.

And according to Joe use only shotguns during the pullback.

I don’t know why Biden is worried. All the Ukrainians should do is go outside and fire a couple of warning shots from their shotguns. That will scare the Russians away.

If you were voting in a Ukraine election which autocratic bully would you pick Obama or Putin?
To: PaulCruz2016
What are these clowns in Washington going to say when the other shoe drops? Russia can't have the Crimea without a way of getting there except by plane. Look at the map. The eastern Ukraine is next to go. Lots of that area is all ready surrendering even without any Russian troops on the ground.
