President Obama - America Will Not Be Able To Defend Israel

Barack Obama/Benjamin Netanyahu

When Barack Obama was running for President, many of us had doubts about his commitment to Israel. Even though he claimed to support them with no reservations, we were not so sure of his real intentions. This is what he said when he was bidding for the White House, claiming Israel's security was non-negotiable and sacrosanct. He has repeatedly reiterated that statement throughout his first term and into his second. Again, many of us wondered if his actions would ever match his rhetoric. My friends, that day has finally came, but not in the way American Jews or their fellow Jews in Israel would have hoped. This is what he told Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday in an interview with Bloomberg. Thanks to Gateway Pundit for the tip.

The Times of Israel - Israel can expect to face international isolation and possible sanctions from countries and companies across the world if Benjamin Netanyahu fails to endorse a framework agreement with the Palestinians, US President Barack Obama cautioned on Sunday ahead of a meeting with the Israeli prime minister.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Obama stressed that time was running out for Israel to achieve a peace deal, and added that he believed Netanyahu had the capacity to rally Israel’s citizens behind an agreement…

…The president went on to condemn in no uncertain terms Israel’s settlement activities in the West Bank, and said that though his allegiance to the Jewish state was permanent, building settlements across the Green Line was counterproductive and would make it extremely difficult for the US to defend Israel from painful repercussions in the international community.

“If you see no peace deal and continued aggressive settlement construction — and we have seen more aggressive settlement construction over the last couple years than we’ve seen in a very long time — if Palestinians come to believe that the possibility of a contiguous sovereign Palestinian state is no longer within reach, then our ability to manage the international fallout is going to be limited,” Obama said.

Personally, I would have liked to heard Netanyahu's reaction when he heard what President Obama had to say. I suspect, given the Israeli Prime Minister's attitude of taking care of Israel first, it wasn't something Obama would appreciate. As it is with Obama's relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, he is out of his league with Benjamin Netanyahu. Given his past actions, I can't see either man taking the President seriously at all.

Does President Obama really think he can load the negotiations in favor of his peace plan, before they even begin? If there is one thing I have learned from watching Benjamin Netanyahu and his leadership of Israel, it is two things. First, he loves his country. I suspect his love for Israel is far greater than the love our current President has for America. Second, he does not bluff, especially when it comes to Israel's security.

So, we know now how President Obama really feels about Israel. He has no intention of backing them up, should push come to shove with the international community. He will roll over like a whipped puppy and Israel will be left on their own. Is anyone who has paid attention in the last five years really surprised at this announcement? I know I'm not.

“(Dennis Prager, a Jew himself, says it’s because the older Jews still think they’re voting for the Democrats of Roosevelt’s time.)”

They would have to be 90 years old to have voted for Roosevelt. It’s not just 90 yr old Jews who voted for Obama.

>>We should pray as individuals, and as families, that God will spare and protect those who pray for the protection and peace of Israel.<<

Fear not.

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

>>he seems to be working an agenda for the god of this world, anyways, so...<<

Most people either don’t take that into account or don’t realize the significance of what is going on in the world right now. God is indeed in control right now but it’s not like many people think. Prophecy is being played out and the hook is being set. The power structure in this world will be shifted to Russia.

‘bammers is not the antiChrist.
He’s a “type” of the antiChrist, just as Hitler was.
He’s preparing the way of the antiChrist,
just as John the Baptist prepared the way of Christ.

If he confirms a covenant for 7 years .......

Not quite. I don't think OBOZO has that particular authoritigh in his job description. Almost, but not quite. Still, that particular individual is no doubt warming in the wings, waiting to make his entrance and never before in my entire life have I been as expectant as I am right now. RAPTURE READY?

Obama is close enough to get us to see the pattern, that part is certain.
