The State of Connecticut says that all citizens must register rifles and high capacity magazines, or be charged will a felony. As many as 100,000 people could face heavily armed police smashing down their doors and be charged with a felony.
The legislature of CT says that a registration is needed so they can know where the guns are. Yet at the same time, they are sending threatening letters to gun owners. So they already have records of who has purchased certain guns. The fact is, that the CT legislature fully intends to confiscate hundreds of thousands of firearms anyway......

Bury the guns in the back yard. They will be needed some day.
Absurd post of the day.
This is EXACTLY the day they are needed.

"As many as 100,000 people could face heavily armed police smashing down their doors..." Does Connecticut have several hundred thousand battle tested, jack booted cops, to handle confiscation duty?

Hide the guns
Wrong.
This is exactly the time the guns are to be used. Remember the Revolutionary War?
The time is NOW. Get it?

Do they keep the records when they do a background check?
Maybe another reason why background checks are bad, too.

Bury the guns in the back yard. They will be needed some day. If jack boots are headed your way to disarm you, that "someday" has already arrived.

Your answer does not push further any solution to the problem discussed.

If they are convinced you have a weapon just tell them you threw it away. If that's how you'd respond to jackboots busting down your door to confiscate your weapons, then perhaps you should throw them away.

Next step is to drag the “illegal gun” owner to his front lawn and execute him in front of his family and neighbors so as to dissuade others from keeping a gun hidden in the house.

This is from Connecticut once again. Wasn't there a school shooting there where there is no biographies of the adults or children shot there?

Personally I've got some battle rifles and ammo buried. I've also got tractors and volkswagons buried. and horses and cattle buried. The tipping point in Cn. is close.
At the first arrival of a goobermint snatch squad in Cn. it is game on for Cn. residents and an eye opener for the hinterlands.
The gun grabbers might have a change of heart when they find their phone #s, addresses, license plate #, pictures of them, their families, cars and any other information anyone has on them plastered on phone poles everywhere.
