An Ellenwood homeowner called 911 three times during a home invasion and said she could not get an operator on the phone. Danielle Bryan was at home alone on Tuesday night around 8 p.m. She said a Jeep drove around her house and a man was looking through her window.
Bryan called 911. . . .
The logs also show Bryan waited nine seconds, 11 seconds, and one minute and 21 seconds before hanging up. Bryan never got through to a dispatcher. . . .
She ran and hid in her bedroom closet. Her alarm company called her and then immediately got 911 on the line, bringing officers to her home.

Suggest calling 911 WHILE you are involved if at all possible.
Remember to shout things like: “Drop the gun” “Get away from me” or whatever will record YOUR version of events.
When we call 911 Mr. Ruger and Mr Sprinfield Armory will already be on scene. :-)
Similar recommendation by stretched too thin deputies in my neck of the woods.
Legal precedent declares the cops are under zero obligation to respond to you and your calls for help. Period. Castle Rock vs. Gonzalez, etc.
There. Fixed it.
Those MRAP donated trucks are slow and ill-handling too...

This woman is correct. By the time the police arrived she could have been dead.
