Rocker Ted Nugent, who just made media waves with a printed reference of President Obama as a subhuman mongrel, now says hes going stop calling people names but apparently not the name liar.
Mr. Nugent said in CNN: Instead of using terms like subhuman mongrel, Im going to get right to the meat of the matter where our president is a liar. He lies about you can keep your doctor, period. Over and over again, he lies about Benghazi. Hes lying about the IRS.

If the man is a proven liar then calling him a liar is not name calling, it’s the truth.

Obama himself has used the terms “mongrel” and “liar” to describe people.
This is one-way outrage.

I second that. Truth is just being told.

When someone deliberately misleads, obfuscates, crafts stories of omission, and stretches the truth for his own gain, what should you call them?

That’s not namecalling.
That’s “speaking truth to power.”
Remember how the Left used to love that stupid phrase?

They are going to regret tryiung to shame The Nuge into backtracking.
He is calling it EXACTLY like it is now, and they know he is right.
Let them try to say he is wrong?

Just because someone tells the truth does not mean it’s name calling. It’s just telling it as it is.

To: ColdOne
I suppose in the mealy-mouth, ever-changing-rules world of a liberal, the term liar is subjective, like the words ‘idiot’ or ‘douchebag’ or ‘curmudgeon’.
Yeah, those last three are essentially subjective terms, while the term ‘liar’ can be definitively determined and applied. But to a progressive, where the narrative is the reality, lying and telling the truth are subjective too.
Rock on, Ted.

Name-calling usually refers to the application of derogatory epithets: “subhuman mongrel” is a derogatory epithet when applied to any human being, “liar” is not when applied to a person who provably made false statements in the knowledge that they were false.
Thus far, Mr. Nugent has been good to his word.
