Gun confiscations is one step closer in Connecticut. The mainstream media spins it as one more chance for non-compliant gun owners who failed to register their scary guns before the January 1 deadline.
In reality, these letters - 106 to rifle owners, and 108 more to residents with standard capacity magazines are the first step in the Connecticut State Police beginning to round up guns arbitrarily made illegal last year in that state. These guns include Americas favorite rifle, the AR-15 and magazines over 10 rounds, which include the standard capacity magazines made for that Americas favorite rifle.
Failure to register is now a felony now in Connecticut.
How long will it be before there is bloodshed over this law? Were not sure, but were confident it is coming unless the law is rescinded or struck down by the courts.

Aunt Butch proudly displays a sample of everything liberals consider the epitome of evil.
“No brass, no ammo, Sir!”
What a “target rich” environment!
First, I am quite certain that the Connecticut State Police have fully automatic AR-15s with high capacity magazines. Why? I am equally certain that they justified this “assault” weapon based on the need not to be out gunned by criminals, even before the new law was enacted.
We also know that the best response time, nation wide, for 9-1-1 calls is more than 15 minutes.
The Detroit Chief of Police has repeatedly said, on national media, that the residents of Detroit had better arm themselves because he and his men can not protect them.
Finally, the Supreme Court said that the function of the police is protect society, not individual citizens.
All of the above point to the need for individual citizens of Connecticut to effectively arm themselves.
I have a suggestion, some state legistlaor needs to introduce the Citizens Protection Act of 2014. The bases of this act would make the Connecticut State Police, individually and collectively, financially responsible for every citizen who is injured by a criminal because he/she was unarmed.
If the state wants to take away our rights to self defense then they should pay every time they don’t effectively defend us. A ying and yang approach.
What! Hold legislators responsible for their irresponsible acts outside the ballot box? What a novel idea!
Was was just speculating that, as Spring (and ice choked bodies of water) breaks in Conn., canoe sales will necessarily skyrocket.
Well it should be interesting to see the cops going to what several hundred thousand houses trying to pick up guns and mags?
In GA if they tried that the cops would all call in sick. They know what would happen.
“OK - so where is the NRA on this issue?”
Busy sending out tens of millions of membership offers, claiming unless we send them untold fortunes this will continue. Bastards.
Because it can't be turned on unless you chamber a round?
Probably because the hammer is dropped.
** I am quite certain that the Connecticut State Police have fully automatic AR-15s with high capacity magazines**
Not only do the staties have them....but our local/town cops do too.
He/she/it demoing the kind of gun needed for protection against the "homophobia" they so often encounter?
Note that these are going out to people who actually tried to comply with the law, but were a couple of days late.
“Dear gun owner. Thanks for trying, but failing, to register your illegal gun. Because you attempted, but failed, to register your gun by the deadline, not only are you a class D felon, we also know exactly who you are, where you live, and what guns you have!”
Does everyone see how this works?
The NRA needs to get out front on issues like this, and not just the safe issues.
Herr Hermann Wilhelm Göring would be so proud to honor such a hardworking Neo-Nazis cadre!
Although Herr Paul Joseph Goebbels prefers the uniform that New Jersey displays! He claims it’s the leather.
Adolph “ Are you good little Nazis?”
Group “Yes, We are all good little Nazis!”
I see Dead people.
California was the first test.
I figure if they ever start coming for guns, I won’t be the first one, I’ll hear about it in the news, and be prepared accordingly.
exactly.....showing they plan to go for it.
small pieces
Especially with the 3 Hi-Cap magazines on her belt.
