Ukrainian protesters tore through towns all over their nation, ripping down statues of Vladimir Lenin, the communist dictator who had forced the Ukrainians under the Russian yoke after the Bolshevik revolution.
The Ukrainians drove their corrupt, pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovich from the capitol of Kiev, while the opposition leader former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was freed from prison.
Amazing images of protesters tearing down the iconic face of socialism V.I. Lenin (also known as Vladimir Ulyanov) erupted into a fury on social media last night.
These photos are truly inspiring at least to those able to recognize the significance of young people yearning to throw off the legacy of an oppressive system of government: socialism.

After what the Soviets did to the people of Ukraine I am surprised these statues of that syphilitic bastard weren't torn down long ago. Nonetheless if you go to the link both stills and an excellent video of this most pleasing event can be seen. Now if we could only get the doofuses of Seattle to do likewise.

If I had a hammer
I'd hammer me a Lenin
I'd hammer me a Stalin
And a Beria too
I'd hammer their fingers
I'd hammer their noses
I'd hammer their heads, their hands, their ugly feet
All over this world.

I like the picture, not sure of the guy smashing the statue wearing what appears to be a Palestinian keffiyeh (scarf). A lot of protesters wear them thinking it’s cool (huh?), so am not sure if he’s about freedom from socialism/marxism, or is whacking old Vladimir Lenin because he was an atheist (whom muslims hate greatly)or Russians in general because of their long time feud in the Caucasus and invasion of Afghanistan. Anyone have some light to shed on this?

Guess I missed that part of “The Longest Day” where the red army stormed ashore at Normandy.

Alas, not a lot of hope for Fremont at this time. Seattle and it’s neighborhoods are so thoroughly infested with leftist cockroaches presently it’s incredible (and seemingly hopeless). Just driving through the place makes me want to take a shower. There’s always been a deeply entrenched left-wing establishment there, but I do remember Seattle during better times. Such a lovely place...sad what happened.
