MPs have replace the parliamentary speaker and attorney general, appointed a new pro-opposition interior minister and voted to free jailed opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko.
Police appear to have abandoned their posts across the capital.
Protesters in Kiev have walked unchallenged into the president's official and residential buildings.

Ukrainians need to right to keep and bear arms.
Watch out for Russia.
Governments fall, for good or for bad, when its security forces are no longer willing to pull a trigger on its behalf.
the Ukrainian military and police also fled south and east.
The scum in congress could learn a lot from the Ukrainians.
I wonder if this will serve as a model for people to assert their freedom in other lands.....
Tyrants can often be overthrown when people are willing to give their lives for the cause.

Russians are just waiting for the Olympics to be over. In fact I wonder if these protests were timed this way.

They do have guns. This isn’t western europe. Furthermore, some of the police departments in the west have defected and joined the protesters in the capital.
Watch out for Russia.

Exactly. Olympics are ending tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how quickly Putin reacts to this setback in view of his obvious plan to restablish hegemony.
