IMHO, this was a complex article by Thomas Sowell.
It had many tangents to whatever was his main point.
I found many main points, and so, for the sake of brevity, I chose to concentrate on this quote by Sowell:

* Jeopardizing the reelection of current Republican Senators
* is an act of utter irresponsibility,
* a high risk
* with zero benefits to anyone
* except Ted Cruz —
* and the Democrats. - - - “
I chose this quote, ( which I have broken down, in original order, into small segments), for the following reasons:
* The topic of rebellion against incumbent Republicans is a recurrent point of discussion in the last several articles by Sowell;
* Sowell expresses his highest negative emotions on the topic of Rebellion against Incumbent Republicans;
* And there are many false assumptions that Sowell and other incumbent Republicans base their reasoning upon.

The first four bullet points demonstrate that Sowell is opposed to voting incumbent politicians out of Office for reasons known only to him.
Sowell then exhibits his dislike of Cruz by asserting that somehow “throwing the rascals out” is an ego trip for Cruz. Curious!
Then, of course, the Democrats. Sowell had to put them in to demonstrate that he “really” is a Conservative Republican.

Sowell is a Republican, an Obsolete RINO Republican, who have proven themselves to be the perfect doormats to Commie Soetoro-Obama.
Keep on writing your RINO drivel, Thomas Sowell, just don’t stop to look in the mirror, as your former Conservative Self will not like your RINO Reflection.

He just apologized for calling Obama a subhuman mongrel.
He said he should have chosen his words more wisely in respect to Republican political fallout.
Says he should have said Obama has broken his constitutional oath, that he has lied to the American people and disrespected our troops at Ft hood by calling Hassan’s Terrorist attack as “work place violence”.

I remember all the decades of the Fairness Doctrine. I remember when one hour a week of Buckley's Firing Line on PBS was all the fairness conservative opinion needed.
If the left ever gets away with doing that again it's time to -- like the hundreds of thousands of citizens past -- defend free speech against oppressors with blood.. our free speech, their blood.

Actually, I agree he should have left out the “subhuman mongrel” part of his description of Obama. The rest of it was spot-on, but of course the media is focusing on the inflammatory words and ignoring the message.
Well he just apologized for the street gutter wording, but stands by his message.
