Ukraine Defense Minister Pavel Lebedev has refused to take multiple phone calls made personally by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, the Pentagon said Thursday.
"Secretary Hagel has been trying, himself, since early this week," Pentagon press secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters. Lebedev refuses "to communicate, to accept a phone call" from Hagel or the Pentagon.

I would bitterly resent the defense minister of a foreign nation trying to contact anyone in the US military,
over internal problems here.
There’s a state department to conduct foreign affairs, if we need to contact another country’s government.
Pavel Lebedev is too busy taking calls from Sergey Shoigu, defense secretary of Russia.
UpChuck is isn’t getting the disrepect he truly deserves.
Who’d even want to take our calls anyway? Probably get some lecture on the glories of homosex. That seems to be America’s prime global interest in promoting these days. America offers only laughably impotent leadership, and the haranguing voice of degeneracy.
