Prosecute Illegal Gun Owners
The Hartford Courant ^

Letter to the editor
Today's Courant says that there could be as many as 330,000 people with assault weapons who refused to register them according to the law [Feb. 11, Page 1, "Thousands Ignore Law On Gun Registration"]. Then now is the time to increase the penalty and start rounding them up.
At the first sign that someone has an illegal weapon , they should be immediately tried and imprisoned. These are the people we must be worried and concerned about -- the ones who need to keep their ownership secret.
Something wrong when they refuse to obey the law -- a law necessary for the safety of the rest of us and our children. Lots of laws are not pleasant, but we do not deliberately break them.

This was one of the comments about the letter:
May I respectfully suggest that since Pam wants all of these gun owners tried and imprisoned, that she be deputized and then placed in the front of the stack as they raid a house to arrest said gun owners. Why do I think she might change her tune if given that opportunity?

I'm thinking I need to remind this liberal that none of my guns have killed as many people as Ted Kennedy's car did.
Then I will flat tell him that I do not have to ask to utilize my second amendment rights. I do not have to ask him, not once, not ever.
I'm going to laugh when they pass laws that make CCW’s from any state good nationwide. People like this are going to implode.

Are you signing up to help perform the roundups, Pammy? If No, why not?

Something wrong when they refuse to obey the law -- a law necessary for the safety of the rest of us and our children. There's already a lot of laws that prohibit harming women and children, and people who violate those laws should be "immediately tried and imprisoned." Actually, why bother with an immediate trial before the imprisonment?

Maybe Pam can get her wish soon. Even a few arrests and some suits attacking this law vs. the 2A and we might get a moratorium on enforcement until it works its way to the Supremes, who just might have to think that AR-15s are very common, and their normal capacity magazines are also common.

She'd do well under Stalin, putting bullets in the back of the Kulaks' heads. I've got good money that says she's either an elementary school teacher or librarian.

Hey Honey, if I changed your sentence above to:
At the first sign that someone is an illegal alien, they should be immediately tried and imprisoned,
bet you wouldn't agree, now would you.

Lots of laws are not pleasant, but we do not deliberately break them. Yes, the coloreds need to sit at the back of the bus and drink from separate fountains. We need to protect our children from negroes. It's the law!

Something wrong when they refuse to obey the law When 1/3 million people don't obey this law -- could be there is something dreadfully wrong with the law.
