George Zimmerman on Monday accused President Barack Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder of making a “scapegoat” of him but that he does not know why they would do so.
In an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, Zimmerman said he believes that in his trial for the killing of Florida teen Trayvon Martin he faced a “miscarriage of justice,” and he described himself as a “scapegoat.”
“A scapegoat for [what]?” Cuomo asked.
“The government, the president, the attorney general,” responded Zimmerman, who was acquitted in the trial. “I don’t know what they’re thinking or why they’re thinking it, all I know is that they’re doing it. I don’t know what agenda they have.”
Zimmerman also said that he wants to attend law school.
“I would like to professionally continue my education and hopefully become an attorney. I think that’s the best way to stop the miscarriage of justice that happened to me from happening to somebody else. I don’t think it should happen to anyone ever again, not one person,” he said.
Biblically, the scapegoat is the fortunate one. Two goats are selected and lots are cast, one goat is slaughtered and the “scapegoat” is freed into the wilderness.
All the sins are on the scapegoat but still........

In any case what he said in this interview gives Holder no usable ammunition in a civil rights case. GZ has chosen to fight and I'll stand behind him for doing that.
The Obama Administration and associated race baiters are engaged in an effort to misportray Zimmerman as a racist in order to create a racial incident to be used in false propaganda as an opportunity to rally political support around themselves and their political agenda. Ideally they would have liked to see Zimmerman convicted of murder with special circumstances regarding racism. In the absence of a conviction for murder, they want to misportray Zimmerman as a man who was actually guilty of committing a racial murder of an unarmed and harmless youth, yet a jury set the guilty racist murderer free with a wrongful not guilty verdict due to a lack of sufficient evidence. Along with their control of the MSM (MainStream Media), they want to perpetuate this false incitement to hatred by intimidating Zimmerman to remain silent about his innocence, like a murderer concious of his guilt.
Zimmerman knows this misportrayal of him is utterly false and a monumental lie. He recognizes the wisdom of his attorneys’ advice that he must remain silent while the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation to avoid giving them statements to be corrupted into false evidence for a grand jury indictment. Nonetheless, he must also be concerned about fostering the false impression he is a guilty man remaining silent because of being concious of his guilt. He is worried not only about himself, but also about his family and friends who remain at risk so long as there is a false impression that he is a guilty racist murderer who escaped justice. So, he follows the legal guidelines as best he can to defend his reputation while trying to avoid touching on matters relevant to the DOJ investigation.
Is he taking risks an attorney sees as unacceptable. Yes, of course. But, the attorneys don’t have to worry every day about the inhumane death threats his family has to endure every day. These are just some of the risks that have to be confronted by not talking to the press. So, when weighing risks faced by talking to the press versus not talking to the press, George is sacrificing his own safety to protect other people, and not just his own reputation.
He voted for obama and will vote for Hillary. JMO
And now someone has turned the tv to CNN and GZ is being excoriated.

Zimmerman was doing his job. This occured in a gated integrated community of modest means. With a problem having black youths wearing “hoodies” breaking into dwellings and committing thefts which is why they have security guards. While off duty going to store he sees this furtive figure in similar attire and goes on duty (just like most any off duty security would do). Observes the figure calls it into the cops and leaves the “observed” reported alone and unmolested and is returning to go about his business. But before he can make it back to his vehicle the figure jumps actually coldcocks Zimmerman knocking him to the ground. And they stuggle over Zimmermans gun. But luckily Zimmerman gets to it first.

George, I hope you survive. If the New Black Panthers murder you, there will be high fives all ‘round at the Obama-Holder Department of Just Us, and King Samir Shabazz will enjoy a night in the Lincoln Bedroom.

The panthers might be kudos from Obama, but the rest of the nation will be enraged at blacks in general.
I doubt it. The leftist MSM would portray the murder as well-justified. Justice for Trayvon at last! No rage there.
I doubt that the right's anger would be directed at blacks in general. Mostly it would be directed at Obama, Holder et al., for stoking the racial hatred that fueled Zimmerman's demonization. After the not guilty verdict, Obama could have called off his goons and given Zimmerman a chance at a normal life. That did not happen.
Omitted is the role played by Trayvon Martin and his parents in this ongoing tragedy. The MSM should be asking the parents some very hard questions about their son’s apparent burglarization activities before his fatal incident, his drug related activities, his fighting activities, and his being kicked out of his school/s. If Trayvon Martin was a menace to the public and himself in the same way as the youths engaged in the assaults described as the Knockout Game and the Wildings at the Florida State Fair, then the parents owe some accountability for their son’s apparent criminal activities.
You make excellent points. This is not a run-of-the-mill type of crime, and with Obastard and withHolder involved, all bets are off and anything is possible. Zimmerman’s instincts may be the right thing here.
