George Zimmerman says his problems continue.
He told a Spanish language television station he is now homeless, battling post-traumatic stress disorder, more than $2 million in debt and lives in fear for his life.
Zimmerman opened up on the Univision television show "Aquí y Ahora" (Here and Now) that will air Sunday on the Spanish language station at 7 p.m.
Zimmerman also discussed his well-known struggle with 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, an African-American teen who was walking in Zimmerman's neighborhood in Sanford, Fla., on Feb. 26, 2012.
After he called the cops, the two got into a fight that ended with Martin's death.
Zimmerman says the teen attacked him and threatened to kill him.
"He (Martin) saw my gun and told me he would kill me, and I knew he was telling the truth. I mean, was not playing," he told the station. "I asked him to stop . And the young man did not care. Continued attacking ... I knew he would not stop even though I knew that someone had seen (the fight) and the police are coming. He did not care."
But he didnt answer when asked if he should have waited for the cops saying that the case is under a federal Department of Justice investigation...

I believe him. I have reviewed this story countless times and I honestly think Zimmerman killed Martin in self-defense. Will anyone defend or help Zimmerman? He is a scared young man.
He should move to Iowa, change his name, marry a local, sell shoes and forget Treyvon ever existed.
I believe Zimmerman after I saw his bloody swollen nose and his bloody head on the back. As usual the media did a number on him.
He can have my ex-wife in Des Moines. [chuckle]
The media must have profited a great deal from the Zimmerman case.
The least they could do is help the guy with his debts.
I’m not holding my breath.
Well, he better shut up about the PTSD unless he wants to have his right to own a firearm removed.
I feel sorry for him too. I’m afraid he’s either going to commit suicide or get murdered. He’s had a rough time of it.
I tend to presume George has rejected people who do want to help him, under the condition that he stop. national attention every other day. Staying invisible can be done, even today with the Internet and facebook. Did George ever sell Angie, his second painting?
Whoever bought his painting for just over $100,000 helped him, I’m sure. But how could you hire the man to help him that way? There’d be demonstrations, threats, disruptions and boycotts of your company.
Lets all offer up prayers for George...he is a young man in serious need of prayer.
Oh, you sure are right. This admin will grab and keep your guns whenever possible. No logical reason is necessary.
Also, since George is homeless, I guess that girlfriend didn't work out, even after recanting the BS allegations. That's probably for the best, Z-Man.
Lol. Was she THAT bad? :o)
Did you know that Des Moines means "of the monks"? French monks did missionary work there at the meeting of the three rivers. There were Indians living there so the monks KNEW that the tornadoes and such WEREN'T there. Little bit of American history for ya.
I always think of the monks when I hear "Des Moines."
It’s frightening to see how someone who fought back against a Knock Out Game attacker is demonized for defending himself. Really a complete reversal of the days when blacks were unfairly blamed for crimes.
At least you admit you are "presuming". This guy is a shit-magnet. Staying invisible cannot really be done in this type of thing, sooner or later someone somewhere will want 15 minutes of fame and call the police/media/friends/etc and next thing you know it's a news story because it involves someone like George Zimmerman.
And stop what, exactly, existing and being a target for opportunists?
I’ve been to that little log cabin, the original building. It sits on the lawn at Sec Taylor stadium where the Iowa Cubs play. Nice brew pub nearby where they make their own beer.
GO CUBBIES!!!
You’re right, it’s an almost impossible situation he’s in now. I know I’d want get as anonymous and away from people as possible. Maybe an extended stint at gold prospecting in the Klondike.
