Link only - Angry Residents Wave Pitchforks, Torches In Protest Of Mayor's Crackdown On Homelessness
“This could catch on. Gotta get me a pitchfork.”
Not a bad idea. I’d go buy one just to go to the local hardware store. Kind of like that place.
On my way to Home Depot now.
Ahhh, Portland; northwest home to Marxist inspired politics, wanna-bee Hippies who know they have to work and old hippies who don’t want to.
Intel and Nike and others ought to leave them. They do themselves no favors paying taxes to help the capitalist hating folks of Portland.
I kinda seen all this coming,
got My old Time Pitch Fork and a Scythe like the Grime Reaper !
Ready to Party !
A bunch of non-Leftists waving weapons (pitchforks) on a public street against a Leftist politician, would be fired upon by police without hesitation.
Which Portland?
There are 4000 homeless people in Portland? Impossible. We have a Democrat President. Oregon has a Democrat Governor. Portland has a Democrat Mayor. The press would have let everyone know if there was this big of a problem with homelessness in Portland.
Oregon, but it really should have been spelled out.
The video and the protest were ridiculous. Talk about a phony, staged, 'grass roots' protest... The only problem with it is the 'mob' was just being used to try and provoke an official response. One of the 'promoters' tried to get the 'mob' to converge on the security guard, but it didn't work. The promoter is likely a government undercover agent.
Hopefully their only real goal was to get a video a bunch of hits on the Interwebbies.
A pitchfork is just a fork until it’s pitched some zhit.
Looks like maybe a whole 15 or so.
Actually, the irony is they're all Leftists. The Mayor is responding to business pressure due to past overly-liberal homeless policies. See here, for example, and the latest...
