TAMPA (FOX 13) - New video released Tuesday by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office shows the start of what would become a massive stampede of rowdy students at the Florida State Fair that led to dozens of ejections and several arrests.
The video was shot by a vendor and handed over to investigators as they try to identify victims and make more arrests in connection to the organized stampede known as "wilding."
"It's more of a giant stampede, and that's kind of the beginning of it that you see on that video," explained Cpl. Jim Previtera. "It does give a brief glimpse of what 'wilding' looks like."
The stampede, which investigators said involved many teenagers attending with free student tickets, led to 99 ejections and 12 arrests Friday and forced authorities to shut the fair down early.
Previtera made another revelation: known gang members were involved in the ordeal; several of them even took pictures at a photo booth at the fair.
"Certainly the gang element adds an organized group into the mix that's there for one purpose, and that's certainly not to take advantage of the rides," he said. "They were there to cause problems."

People responsible enough to get a ccw permit are responsible enough to know where NOT to be. Just because one has a permit does not mean one should place oneself in danger or go looking for trouble.
Most school districts near any state fair give kids a free ticket near a school day off. This kind of behaviour will just ruin this for all the kids - maybe they will just quit giving the freebies to high schoolers.

Having gone to school within walkin distance of the Bronx zoo, it was usually empty on free days as it was usually on a Wednesday if I recall. The funny thing is that none of the feral youth would ever think of settin foot in the NY Botanical Garden on free days, preferring instead to head up to Westchester or Manhattan when they cut class.

Except Obamaphones are extremely useful for tracking criminals. Many a murder mystery has been solved from cell tower dumps of Obamaphones checked in. The government has gotten most everybody wearing a voice and video recorder/GPS tracker that also logs who knows who. It's a police state dream come true. Someone turning off their Obamaphone for an hour or two is certain to attract special attention.

Blame the idiots running this fair for giving out free student tickets. These incidents are not new. Yet they still distribute free tickets to feral alleged students?
This is going to keep up until one such incident ends very badly.

Blacks are destroying every aspect of traditional American life.
Going to the State Fair, parades, other public events, even a trip to the local mall used to be a relatively carefree experience.
Now we have to weigh the odds of encountering violent black thugs before deciding to go anywhere.
Soon there won’t be anyone at public events except black thugs and police.
Many law enforcement authorities and local government leaders spend too much time trying to cover up black thuggery rather than enforcing laws and firmly dealing with the perpetrators.
When thugs act like animals they should not be treated with kid gloves.
Instead of wringing hands and spouting nonsense about identifying “root causes” of black rioting, officials should act to protect the peaceable majority (whites and blacks) by arresting and prosecuting the thugs.
I was halfway kidding about the “nick” part, but that is part of the deal. Unless you have to, you do not want to cut anyone in your way twice. By the time the light dawns that they have been cut, you have cut two more individuals and are perhaps 30 feet away and still moving through the crowd. You do not want a pause in the action by having to slow down.
If you see someone you do not want to cut, you quickly bypass them. Importantly, if you see someone being attacked, you may not be able to intercede if it is too far out of your way, because you have to get out of there.
And the media silence works both ways. Since they refuse to say that the mob was black, they are caught in a paradox by saying the knife wielder was not black. They might state his race, but with little other identification, unless it is caught on camera.
The authorities will also try to downplay even a dozen serious injuries, for several reasons.
Last but not least, if the knife wielder is identified, he can play the anti-race card, that it was a riotous black race mob, attacking non-blacks, and that you just wanted to get out of there instead of being savagely assaulted or murdered.
The authorities will not want to touch that with a ten foot pole.
