A California high school student who believes he is a girl trapped in a boy's body just made the girls' softball team.
Pat Cordova-Goff, 17, a strapping senior at Azusa High School, in Azusa, an hour east of Los Angeles, can play with and against girls because of a September change in state law went into effect last month. The law requires that, a pupil be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupils records.
Goff, who is a cheerleader at the school, played freshman baseball when he considered himself a boy. He found out Friday that he made the cut.

A shoe in for the new girls home run title...
Yes, but society loses as well.
Whatever. CA will destroy itself in time. I just hope I’m not around when it happens.
If a guy has what it takes to make it on the girls’ team, so be it. Judge everybody by their abilities, not their gender.
Nicely produced.
Goff sure has a set of balls for pulling this off.
6 foot 2, I screw you, and I get to wear a dress too.
What a life!
Looks like a bruiser!
I’ll tell you where this is going to go, so make a note that you heard it here first. The most underused Title IX scholarship is womens golf. Watch how many boys start getting to use them for schools that need to offset football and other “high priority” sports. The possibilities for thrashing all the “gains” Title IX got women, is about take a hit. You will not see women getting Mens scholarships, but you will see boys/men start taking women’s. After all, a free ride to a college is a free ride.
The whole world has gone completely insane with this crap. There’s two of these “trannies” working as cashiers at Target in Ann Arbor. Then I turn on “Chopped” the other night and one of the four contestants is one of them he/she’s. They keep shoving it in your face more and more and then you start wondering if maybe you’re the one that’s crazy and there’s something wrong with the way you’ve been thinking. And the parents are “pleased” with this crap. God help us.
Lord have mercy.
YIKES!
Sickening.
I thought this stupid law was put on hold while a referendum effort is being launched.
Or did a black-robed tyrant pre-emptively find their petition “unconstitutional” before the fact?
I picked this jpg off the internet -- I do not know anything about this fine young man. I selected this picture after a simple google search because he looks pretty All-American to me:
Why can't he be on the girls' team? What's to stop him??
Fact is: I can't imagine how any girls are going to make it on the girls team -- and I also can't imagine how Title IX funds will be cut. You got *ahem* confused kids making up the girls team, and the law says that's OK. If I were in HS I would just blatantly take advantage of the stupid law.
Most likely it'll be the best males on the male team and the 2nd string of males will make up the female team leaving most of the girls out of sports altogether. All that fighting to make schools have girl sports was all for nothing.
He/she/it better not commit any crimes that give jail time, though [it's] big enough to give any but the most bulked up thug a match in a fight.
1. Boys and girls have different physical capabilities, and if girls want to have serious participation in sports, they need to compete against other girls. (This is similar to there being different weight classes in boxing: you simply can't expect an 118 lb man to box a 200 lb man.)
2. Teenage girls do not want men present when they are dressing and undressing, toileting and showering. It causes sexual tension, and imposing this unbidden on the girls is a form of harassment.
In my view, either one of these would be, by itself, sufficient reason to keep the usual separate status of girls' teams and boys' teams, without exceptions being made for the gender disordered.
Why does Janet Reno comes to mind? Anyway he, she or it is qualify to be on the Usurper Cabinet.
