George W. Bush is looking to what some call his secret weapon in the effort to win over Latino and 20-something voters: His hunky Latino nephew.
The oldest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and his Mexican-born wife Columba, George Prescott Bush was born in Houston on April 24, 1976.
George P. (or P as he is called by family members) lived with his parents in Venezuela for three years. In 1979, the growing family moved to Miami, where he was raised while attending private schools.
George P. earned a history degree from Rice University in 1998. He immediately entered the work force, taking a job teaching history at Homestead High School in South Florida, a low-income community south of Miami.
Just over a year later, George P. left his teaching position and came to the aid of his uncle, George W. Bush, in his bid for the presidency of the United States.
Encouraging Young Voters
George P., who was raised to speak both Spanish and English, visited more than 60 high schools and 25 colleges in New Hampshire and California during the primary campaign, setting up voter registration booths and trying to convince young people to get involved in politics.
He applied lessons learned as a teacher (viewing victory one person at a time) in his grassroots approach to reach young voters. This generations Bush believes that young people are informed and care about issues, but must be taught how to direct their energy into politics.
The GOP historically loses Latino votes to Democrats, and it seems clear the Bush campaign is hoping the 24-year-old will help his uncle appeal to young and especially Latino voters. So far, the fans (mostly young women) have swooned over this young George with football-player good looks.

When "working" became anathema.
No dynasties.
No more Bushes.
Support David Watts for TX Land Commissioner.
Ubiquitous, or even large numbers, of hispanics voting conservatively is a urban RINO myth.
Sorry, I fail to see how this is a bad thing.
He is getting people to vote for the more conservative of the two parties.
I wish we had this kind of effort by BLACK conservatives in the BLACK community. Thank God for the few black conservatives reaching out to the deceived black community: Star Parker, Frances Rice, etc.
Why should the liberals do all the “minority” outreach?
Homestead IS a bad area in Miami, let me tell you. Even staying a year there is more than I would want.
Rand Paul was right when he urged the GOP to reach out to others—there is NO REASON why we need to think Hispanics and blacks have to vote Democrat.
With this latest Bush, the GOP will not have to worry about Hispanic voters turning liberal. George P. IS a liberal: pro-abortion and all. He’s the GOP’s answer to Sandra Fluke.
Of course we all know how much ABC loves conservative republicans.
“Stay out da Bushes”!!!
Please!!!! :)
George P. Bush Believes Texans Are Gullible Idiots

I don't know who they think they're fooling.
Heaven help us not to have yet another Bush curse leveled on our nation. We need a conservative government, not to continue to be whipsawed between socialist totalitarian loonies and elitist authoritarian RINOs.
" Efforting A made up word used only by newscasters to show off that they're doing the job they're paid to do. A poor attempt to make the word effort into a verb. To make it sound like something simple is tough to do, so theyre making extra effort. Often used as a stall when a report isnt ready. Were efforting to get that hurricane report from the beach ready for you. " The Urban Dictionary
"Among the new verbs created out of nouns, efforting is one of the most bizarre and unnecessary, and has been met with a chorus of objections. You are not efforting to get your report in on time; you are trying to do so. Instead of saying we are efforting a new vendor, say we are trying to find a new vendor. "Common Errors in English Usage
GOP needs to dump the Hispanic Voter Myth...unless Pee Bush promises gov’t freebies...it ain’t gonna happen
Kind of sad, but a candidate could be great - but if he's from the Bush line I'd give him an automatic thumbs down. And I even liked 'W'.
First of all, despite the government class desire to have it so -- we do not have royalty in this Country. Secondly, the 'matriarchs' in the Bush family (Barbara and Laura) appear to be as far left-wing as anyone you'd find in the Godless Marxist party. -- So no thanks. 'P' might be great - but get a real job outside of the Government.
The LSM also waited until Christie signed the NJ Amnesty bill before they threw him under the bus.
They’re 0 for 2.
