Brooklyn – Crown Heights community leaders are demanding more police protection in the wake of another “knockout” attack against a member of the community last week.
On Friday night, a young man was walking home from Shul when he was knocked out cold in an unprovoked attack by an African-American man, according to Crown Heights Info. The incident occurred at about 7:00pm on Lincoln Place between Schenectady and Utica Avenues. The victim, a newlywed young man who lives in the vicinity, noticed an African-American male in a red sweatshirt exit the building of 1309 Lincoln Place and walk towards him.
As they were about to pass each other, the man punched him in the head, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. A short while later, the victim awoke to discover he was face down on the sidewalk, with his Yarmulka and hat lying nearby. The attacker had not fled the scene, and was standing nearby watching him.
Just at that moment, another Jewish man was walking by across the street. The victim called out to him to get the police, at which point the attacker ran back inside the building.
According to the victim, a police van was nearby and responded to the call. However, police refused to conduct a search of the building the culprit had vanished into. Police said that the victim would be unable to positively identify the culprit. Police took the victim’s complaint and handed the case to detectives.
“We cannot have a situation where young members of the community will be knocked unconscious as they walk down the street here,” a spokesperson for the community told Arutz 7. “There was clearly a failure of security on the part of local police and we must speak out about this.”
The whole city would have been turned upside down to find the perp if the races were reversed.

Birmingham AL just spent resources to find Gabriell Coleman, a black college student who falsely claimed to have been kidnapped by two white men, so that she could hang out with friends. She also pulled the same stunt while in high school.
“Knockout” attack is another term for hunting “Polar Bears”, viz, get “Whitey”. Captured bigots should all be tried for hate crimes.

Don’t need “hate crime”.
This is aggravated assault with an intent of serious bodily injury or death.
It’s a Class A felony in most jurisdictions, as close as you can get to murder without actually killing them. We’re talking 10-25 years. Just enforce the law the way it is written, and NO MORE PLEA BARGAINS FOR VIOLENT CRIME!
Hope they don’t try this down South.

Maybe their goal always has been to let the scum bags get away with it. I am totally cynical of the government. I think almost everything they do is evil. It is probably not completely true, but that is just about the way I look at it.
There seems to be a lot less of it down here.
In GA, about 5% of the adult population has a CCW license. That’s a startling number when you think about it.
These stories will solidify the segregation here in the northeast; the only protection against this is to avoid crossing paths with unassimilated minorities who have been taught to hate you (to the point of murder) since birth.

When seconds count police are just a few minutes away.
I’d bet they will step up the patrols when they start finding these pampered game players lying dead or dying in the streets.
There is no money left in this area for more patrols; any attempt to increase “services” results in more flight of taxpayers from the bills.

I lived at 626 Lincoln Place 60 years ago. It was a really nice area back then and very safe.
