If Dems wanted to find someone to attack Chris Christie's credibility for claiming he didn't know what was going on in his administration, couldn't they have found someone better than Robert Gibbs? After all, Gibbs served as spox for Barack Obama, the man who has made an art form out of claiming he only found out about his admin's latest scandal when he read about it in the paper.
But there was Gibbs leading with his chin on Morning Joe today, asking "how many times can [Christie] play the card of 'I had no idea this was going on in my own office?" Joe Scarborough was only too happy to oblige Gibbs with a haymaker to his rhetorical jaw: "Robert, it's getting to the point he is starting to sound like Barack Obama."

Pot, kettle, hello? Watch Robert Gibbs walk into a haymaker. Ping to Today show list.
Morning Joe can swing a haymaker? When did this start to happen?
Personally, I am no fan of Chris Christie, but this is typical of how the nasty liberal Democrat propaganda machine takes down those whom it considers to be a potential rival - invent a wholly fictitious scenario, and accuse the Republicans (or any other rival even within their own ranks) of using that picture to their own advantage.
Was this in fact an actual crisis, or was there some other explanation why the bridge crossing was artificially restricted for some period of time? Nobody has looked for any other reason, once a half-truth was picked up and hurled at Christie’s head.
Brass-knuckled, smash-mouth, take-no-prisoners, do-I-look-like-I’m-joking, king-of-the-world, self-righteous mob action emotional outbursts like this have become the norm in political discourse today. And all of it is coming from one side, the nest of cornered ‘Rats.
Just go away ....
And here's your boss doing his best Sergeant Schultz imitation .... Christie doesn't hold a candle to him!
Great easy home run line.
If anyone should know a lie when they tell/hear it, Robert Gibbs should be at the top of the list.
I bet he can’t keep a straight face when/if he watches Carney during pressers.
We couldn’t keep a straight face when/if we watched Gibbs during pressers.
