Talk show host Sean Hannity has put his waterfront home in Lloyd Harbor on the market for $3.6 million, says his listing agent.

“Did anyone notice that Fox put on The Five for the normal 1st segment...”
Didn’t notice that; but Beckel said he was at Hannity’s house at Oyster Bay or Oyster Point, don’t remember which one, on Long Island. Does he have more than one house in LI? Wish him well if he does.
Hannity is pretty much done at Fox. His 10 pm show is a mess. It basically ends at 1030 and then has on town halls, focus groups or panels until 11. And it is horribly produced. I think he’s getting ready to bolt and hook up with Beck and the blaze team.
I would get the hell out of there too.56 thousand dollars a year in property taxes is NUTS.
Property taxes on your home should be illegal.Because if you have to pay taxes on it then you really don’t own it.The municipality collecting those taxes does.
He will sell this home with time to spare for his move out of high tax NY State. He has said he is committed for two more years in ways that do not allow him to leave NY.
He can sell in NY and buy in Texas or Florida with time to not have to rush into things
Huh? I’m not the world’s biggest Hannity fan, but I don’t care if his home is worth a hundred times that amount. When did we start hating rich folks?
The purchase price of my house was less than that.
How interesting! I remember not long ago when people who became wealthy through their own endeavors were called (dare I say) “Great Americans”. And when people who ridiculed them were called “TURDS”.
I simply don’t understand why any of these talking heads are worth what they’re paid. There are thousands of people, with just as much if not more talent, who would work for a lot less. (Excluding present company.) And liberal talking heads get paid a hell of lot more than they’re worth, too.
And remember, advertising costs are passed on to the consumer.
You could be right about the end of the Fox News and Hannity marriage. I think Hannity can't handle the pace of doing his daily radio talk show and his Fox News segment. The Town Halls were the first real indication of that problem. They are clearly taped in advance which makes them less than newsworthy and, at least for me, a complete waste of time.
If Fox wants to keep Hannity and Hannity wants to stay then I have a suggestion: Team him up with Kirsten Powers and go back to a Conservative vs. Liberal show. Alan Colmes was a bad fit due to his blind Juan Williams-like devotion to the Liberal Cause. Powers is not only cute but once in awhile she actually is critical of her side of the aisle.
It would be worth a try. I would start watching Hannity again.
“Unless he is moving to a better location in New York.”....
Well that sure as heck gives him a lot of options
If I were him, it certainly would NOT BE in New York.
It’s a different world outside New York (and places like that).
Looks like he is making good on his stated intention of leaving NY State as per Gov. Cuomo’s request
I am planning on doing the same
Article says that Hannity is living in another house in Centre Island. Centre Island is on Oyster Bay. That's probably the house Beckel went to.
I'm not sure why Hannity has two houses but I believe super exclusive Centre Island is more pricier than exclusive Lloyd Harbor if that's even possible.

Woo hoo!! And the first 45% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
It’s the free market at its best. The more people who turn on your show, the more you get paid.
Pretty simple.
My mom and some relatives still live in NY. They don't pay property taxes as exorbident as Sean but they are outrageously high. The public schools are bad and getting worse. The government is corrupt and you can go through city after city and see what used to be solid middle class neighborhoods turned into places no family would want to live in.
The entertainment industry is a very lucrative business and Sean Hannity is living proof of it. He’s worked hard to get where’s he at and I don’t have a problem at all with his success. His moving to Florida or Texas makes a lot of sense. Why continue to feed the liberal beast? ABNY/J - Anywhere But New York/Jersey. I do think he’s being eased out of Fox for whatever reason.
I'm getting ROBBED here in IL! I'm paying $8,500 on a home valued at just about $300k.
NY property taxes look like a BARGAIN compared to IL! It's Sunday so I don't even want to do the calc to see the difference in tax rates ... don't need to start cursing as we get ready to go to church.
NY, the Emperial State.
