The Obama administration is considering letting people keep existing individual insurance policies that are not ObamaCare compliant beyond 2014, perhaps as long as three years.

Late last year millions of Americans learned that President Obama's promise, "if you like it plan, you can keep it," wasn't actually true. Their insurance plans were being canceled because they didn't meet ObamaCare provisions.

he is willing to let people die

That's the big lie about ObamaCare. It's only about how things get paid for, and not how or whether things get done. Shutting down ObamaCare doesn't shut down emergency care or charity care.

ObamaCare is what is going to kill people. ObamaCare is planning on shutting down hospitals, by refusing to include a number of the better ones from coverage. ObamaCare will kill a lot of folks who don't go to the doctor because they can't afford the deductible.

You need to stop thinking of ObamaCare as having anything to do with bettering medical care.

ObamaCare is about increasing government power, and nothing else.

I think he is confusing a REGULATION and a LAW.

Regulations can be adjusted by the administration but a law can not.

Of course you would think one person in Washington would know this and inform the President he does not have the power to change a law once it is passed. His only power is to enforce the law.

A side note. At the end of the Civil War, slavery was still not illegal. A constitutional amendment was required to make it illegal.

Why does this President think he can just sign and order and it becomes law? Silly question, because the media is his front line of defense and the elite Republicans are happy to go along with him.

Where is the loyal opposition?

The GOP is more worthless than dirt. The Democrats are all but out on their feet from Obamacare, and the GOP is getting smelling salts for them to get them back in the boxing match.

ObamaCare is about increasing government power, and nothing else.

Its also a huge Federal jobs program and these drones (affirmative action and otherwise) will vote Democrat as seen in Virginia  which used to be solid Republican. Huge influx of Federal workers into Virginia in the last 20 years

Plus a jobs and profits program for connected FedGov contractors. Like those idiots who put up that abomination of a 0Kare website

Obamacare is Officially now a failure, by virtue of this proposed 3 year extension of taxpayer-funded agony.

Speaker Boehner needs to earn his keep by cutting our tax-payer losses and abolishing Obamacare by April 15, 2014.

PERIOD!

Shutting down ObamaCare doesn't shut down emergency care or charity care.

No it does not in most cases of that kind of care. But convince that lady who was recently reported in the news about her rare form of cancer and upon going to her Oncologist's office ended up seeing the sign, "Covered Care Insurance (California's ObamaCare) is NOT accepted here." For the rest of your post, I have no misperceptions about ObamaCare bettering anything - I never said so (if so, show me please). You seem to think it's just about the money, and I am saying it is that PLUS worse medical care on the whole. It isn't whether short term emergency care is available - they are required to treat INITIALLY, and to STABILIZE.... after that patient gotta go home....so tell me...what good is initial stabilizing treatment to a cancer patient like this lady, for instance? The fact is that ObamaCare will deliver what you think - more government power, but it will also deliver much worse medical care - just like the UK's NHS.

dumB☹ should just end the charade of trying to make zer☹care acceptable and make an executive order changing it to single payer.

One has to wonder why John Roberts didn't think of that.

There are going to be so many delays and changes nobody is going to know what is going on. They are screwing themselves over trying to save themselves.

I don’t think the hildabeast will delay it.

The republican candidate should say they are going to issue executive orders delaying it and make Hillary answer if she would do so.

If Hillary says it’s law, then she needs to offer her opinion on the authority of Obama issuing these executive orders. She should be put on the spot to answer if the president can have such abusive power.

Can the president just enforce laws when it fits their agenda? We need to know if this is the path that Hillary and the demos want this nation taking. They are setting us up for extreme abuse of power — sort of like we’re seeing now with Obama.

Can a President tell you it's okay to break the law? And if you do, is that a valid defense in court?

If a company renews an old non compliant policy, isn't it liable to a class action lawsuit as soon as one person is denied payment for some service or procedure that Obamacare mandates? So what sane insurance company would go along with this?

It’s the military way, HURRY UP AND WAIT. I don’t know why it has been adopted by the whole federal government though.

Ok, I reread your first post and I do agree with you.

I'm not sure why now I thought I had to point out about emergency care still being there.

As far as worse medical care, that's a given fact. Worse medical care overall, at a higher cost.

But I didn't think it was all about the money, the ACA is about power, as are all socialist programs. That more money goes to the friends and supports of the ACA is simply the reward for getting more power in the hands of the federal government.
