No it does not in most cases of that kind of care. But convince that lady who was recently reported in the news about her rare form of cancer and upon going to her Oncologist's office ended up seeing the sign, "Covered Care Insurance (California's ObamaCare) is NOT accepted here." For the rest of your post, I have no misperceptions about ObamaCare bettering anything - I never said so (if so, show me please). You seem to think it's just about the money, and I am saying it is that PLUS worse medical care on the whole. It isn't whether short term emergency care is available - they are required to treat INITIALLY, and to STABILIZE.... after that patient gotta go home....so tell me...what good is initial stabilizing treatment to a cancer patient like this lady, for instance? The fact is that ObamaCare will deliver what you think - more government power, but it will also deliver much worse medical care - just like the UK's NHS.
I'm not sure why now I thought I had to point out about emergency care still being there.
As far as worse medical care, that's a given fact. Worse medical care overall, at a higher cost.
But I didn't think it was all about the money, the ACA is about power, as are all socialist programs. That more money goes to the friends and supports of the ACA is simply the reward for getting more power in the hands of the federal government.
