The U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army — those are the “moderates,” you know. How moderate? This moderate: in July 2013, Free Syrian Army fighters entered the Christian village of Oum Sharshouh and began burning down houses and terrorizing the population, forcing 250 Christian families to flee the area. Worthy News reported that just two days later, Free Syrian Army rebels “targeted the residents of al-Duwayr/Douar, a Christian village close to the city of Homs and near Syria’s border with Lebanon….Around 350 armed militants forcefully entered the homes of Christian families who were all rounded-up in the main square of the village and then summarily executed.” And in September 2013, a day after Secretary of State John Kerry praised the Free Syrian Army as “a real moderate opposition,” the FSA took to the Internet to post videos of its attack on the ancient Syrian Christian city of Maaloula, one of the few places where Aramaic, the language of Jesus, is still spoken.
This is just the faction Obama is backing. This is America’s shame.

This is one mission in which I cannot say “I support the troops.”

Whose troops? The “Free Syrian Army”, wrongly being backed by the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut, in no way represents the interests of the United States as a nation, though they probably are good surrogates for the Current Regime.
Just don’t be sending in members of the US military to be training and equipping them. Leave that up to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. They are evidently being funded by some of the Middle East oil money, though definitely NOT the Saudi Royal family. (Can’t tell the players without a score card.)
If American troops are training the Free Syrian Army then I do not support those troops in that mission. Any Christian who is assigned such duty should refuse the order. They are setting themselves up to be put on trial as war criminals.
Of course the Saudi royals are funding this, knowingly, from Prince Bandar on down.

I just wrote a letter to Isakson, Chambliss, and Kingston, asking them to stand with Christians in the ME and Africa, and to support any bills in Congress that support the Christian communities and to challenge the support of the “rebels” that are carrying out the slaughter of such.
I’m not surprised. The Muslin Moo-la that resides in the Mosque on Pennsylvania Avenue that used to be the White House, is anti-Christian, thus supports the murder of Christians. He is seeking to put his caliphate here in Amerikastan. So, no surprises from this murdering thug regime.
I believe the Brass in our Military that has been retired and removed were the Patriots, so they would not stand in the way of this nonsense.

That is the reason that Obama is training and arming them--to attack and murder Christians.
To answer your question, they are not. Each day Obama is placing more of his yes men in positions of leadership in the military. Also each day, mostly unreported people with Christian leanings are being purged from the military. But the people, voters, had a choice to make two times and each time they chose Obama. That tells me that they approve this.

I thought for sure Roberts would help kick out Obamacare but he voted for it as a tax, so even the Supreme Court is of no value. Blackmail with NSA help may be going on?
The Senate at present is worthless, so who will step up and do the job? 2014?? Even a Senate that is Republican can’t do a lot with him still in office.
I do not see a 2016 Presidential candidate that seems viable, or has the guts to do what needs to be done to reverse all the damage.
I have had friends in Jordan for about a year from a very high profile American Army division.

One of the speakers at the republican club dinner last year was a Iraqi Kurdish Colonel who had attended the US War College with a Colonel who was friends of one of the local members. His English wasn’t great, but his presentation was moving and an appeal for a US presence in Kurdistani Iraq.
Was he telling the truth? Was he just saying what he knew we wanted to hear? Who knows?
That would be the problem for our troops in Jordan. They might honestly think they were training Jordanians, but how would they know?
