HUNTSVILLE, Texas — A woman convicted of torturing and killing a mentally impaired man she lured to Texas with the promise of marriage was put to death Wednesday evening in a rare executionof a female prisoner.
The lethal injection of Suzanne Basso, 59, made the New York native only the 14th woman executed in the U.S. since the Supreme Court in 1976 allowed capital punishment to resume. Almost 1,400 men have been put to death during that time.

BS. I know for a fact that even a small man is physically stronger than I am. I CANNOT do many of the jobs men do, nor am I afflicted with an inferiority complex which makes me think I must, or I'm somehow inferior to males.
Every time the TV show "Cops" has a female officer arresting a man, there's a male cop present to assist them with the handling and cuffing. Simple fact is, the chick isn't up to doing it on her own.

Thank you. Liberals excel in pitting groups against each other. I recall seeing a bumper sticker on cars in Massachusetts not too long ago that read “Equality to a man? Why lower myself.” Now, how is that being progressive or liberal or whatever term these freaks try to emphasize? That mentality exudes hatred.

Yes. Liberals in general are consumed with hatred. Feminists despise men, and attempt to portray their hate as a kind of contempt for a lower life form. But I believe it’s nothing but deep-seated resentment because men passed them over in favor of real females.
Why’d it take so long? Doesn’t Texas normally go through the appeals much more quickly?
That’s kind of a red herring. Most actual killings don’t come from serial killers. They are one-off, two-off.
That sounds like a conservative slogan... and really, a man could say the same thing. And they’d both be telling the truth. God doesn’t want distorted, dumbed down people.
It is no more of a red herring than your conclusions about southerners and rednecks. I lived the majority of my life in the northeast and about a third of my life in the south. While the south has its problems, the urban centers in the north are far more dangerous and amoral than in the south.

And the overall killings in the South are more colorful, making up for the serial killers of the North. The South can’t go without boasting SOMETHING can it?
(OK, OK, just being silly. But there is something trying about the North that does make people who insist on living there, more serious. Even the killers are more industrious.)
