HUNTSVILLE, Texas A woman convicted of torturing and killing a mentally impaired man she lured to Texas with the promise of marriage was put to death Wednesday evening in a rare executionof a female prisoner.
The lethal injection of Suzanne Basso, 59, made the New York native only the 14th woman executed in the U.S. since the Supreme Court in 1976 allowed capital punishment to resume. Almost 1,400 men have been put to death during that time.

Where are the feminists protesting this outrageous display of sexism, there being only a few dozen women executed per 1,000 men? Didn’t they want equality? What gives?

Rather, fewer than one dozen per 1,000 men?

I saw a TV ad earlier for women to become welders, electricians, mechanics, etc. and the entire ad had to do with comparisons to men. The final voice said “We can do what a man can do...only better.” Be prepared for 2016 if they nominate Princess Hillary or Dizzie Miss Lizzie. It will be nonstop male bashing.

feminism’s main goal is to diminish men and legitimize bias against men. never anything positive about them.

     Where are the feminists...

They've been around for four decades give or take, hence the relative rarity of this woman's execution.

As Ron White said: “If you kill us in Texas, we will kill you back.”

Jack Levin, who has the title of a Criminologist (IIRC), said a handful of years ago that many people are reluctant to execute women. He gave the expected reasons.

Yeah, I know according to the leftists, statistical disparity in punishment PROVES bias in the judicial process, so obviously the courts are stacked against males. Ooooh, when will the sexism end [sob]???

... a grossly discriminatory and unfair ratio. (The feminists would say, if they were to be self-consistent.)

YES! Ron White is my favorite comedy guy - “we will kill you back” - “putting in express lane”.

The Texas executions happen 25 miles north of me in Huntsville, Texas. The two major “businesses” in Huntsville are the Texas Prison and Sam Houston University.

I seem to recall that Governor of Texas/Presidential Candidate Dubya was all but tarred & feathered (by the DimoCrats and Media) for permitting a “WOMAN” to be executed for a capital crime, even though he did not have direct authority under state law to prevent it.
