Army Brigadier General Martin P. Schweitzer received a "memoranda of concern" following a lurid set of emails between him and another general, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.
Schweitzer was briefing Brigadier Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair on a recent meeting he had with tea party Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) in 2011.
From WaPo:
First she is smoking hot, Schweitzer wrote. Second briefing went well . . . she was engaging . . . had done her homework. She wants us to know she stands with us and will work/push to get the Fort Bragg family resourced.

Right.
Rats.
She was on my bucket list.....at one time.
Was hoping it wasn’t about Nancy Pelosi.
That`s ridiculous! This guy isn`t in trouble for liking women but for showing a worrying degree of unprofessionality and sheer stupidity.
There`s nothing wrong with finding her attractive and lusting for her. There`s a whole lot wrong with a senior officer making those remarks on the job.
He is no nineteen year old private, for crying out loud. Obviously he isn`t even in command of his two brains, and yet he is to be trusted with the command over several thousand men?
That's kinda hot.
I have no idea about this guy’s background - nor do I care. It was a general comment .
I wonder if on some level the congresswoman had to suppress a smile over the whole thing. Just me, but if I was a congressman and a female officer said that about me, I think I would take it as a compliment on some level.
Not every general is a warrior especially the way our military is trending. Our military seems to be populated with less and less warriors with every passing day.
yeah i think u are right!
To bring it full, ah, circle.
You sleez-o-ette sicko.....
LOL
If he had been at a San Fran gay pride parade in leather, or if he were at a gay pride parade in Europe and on the cover page on local news papers (which happened), would you have an issue with that too? Would that also be an act of “unprofessionality and sheer stupidity?”
It’s a non-argument you bring (holding him to an unattainable standard of perfection) and you’re not perfect either. Rank doesn’t make someone less a man, and what you have today is a military that wants a diverse crowd of pretty people, not soldiers. Instead of inculcating a culture of loyalty, team work, mission focus and patriotism, we are creating a military full of narcissistic individuals with a mercenary attitude. The real question is “who the snitch is?” How did a private conversation between a small group of peers get leaked to the public? That is what I would like to know.

Regards,
My late husband, from a midwest farm state was very amused when our Secretary of Agriculture, Butz, said that. I think he even used the same exact comment as your late husband. ;-)
OOPs, how did this jump from a 2014 thread to this year. I should have read more carefully and not requoted myself. ;-(
