Army Brigadier General Martin P. Schweitzer received a "memoranda of concern" following a lurid set of emails between him and another general, according to documents obtained by The Washington Post.
Schweitzer was briefing Brigadier Gen. Jeffrey Sinclair on a recent meeting he had with tea party Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-N.C.) in 2011.

“First — she is smoking hot,” Schweitzer wrote. “Second — briefing went well . . . she was engaging . . . had done her homework. She wants us to know she stands with us and will work/push to get the Fort Bragg family resourced.”

Part of the problem is the change in culture.
If you want a war fighting Army, you’re not looking for guys that never drink, never whore around, never speed, have no tattoos, or got into a fight. You’re not looking for the GQ guy that looks good on a DA picture and has a perfect body mass index, doesn’t use foul language, use tobacco, or worst of all, is offensive to someone. A military that is concerned about winning when fighting isn’t concerned with the ratios of certain races or sexes and what ranks they have etc... I suppose we no longer need a war fighting Army, and as many years before are more focused on the PC issues than anything related to fighting and winning. For myself, I would rather have my son serve with this guy who appears competent, than some of the clowns I served with at various times.

This is a cultural shift and while the Army is ten years behind society, it will eventually catch up.

Surprise surprise surprise, another dump of mysterious e-mails by the Washington dot-Compost, from a mysterious unnamed source that is not once mentioned. I wonder where oh where could all these emails regarding this general, Christie, Petraeus, etc etc be coming from?

This happened in 2011 when the General was still a Coronel. Apparently Gen. Sinclair is the one with big problems, and that is why the email exchange was found.
If you’re a colonel who wants to get stars and you’re dumb enough to put that in writing, you deserve to have it blow up on you after you get your stars.
I am not familiar with his military record so I am curious, what makes him the “warrior” that you call him?
