Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) says that the newly launched Congressional Full Employment Caucus will give President Obama a number of executive orders that he can sign.
Jackson Lee made the statement while gathered with Democrats on January 29th to announce the establishment of the Full Employment Caucus.
We will be answering the call of all of America because people need work and were not doing right by them by creating work, Jackson Lee said. I believe this caucus will put us on the right path and well give President Obama a number of executive orders that he can sign with pride and strength.
In fact, I think that should be our number one agenda. Lets write up these executive orders, draft them of course - and ask the president to stand with us on full employment.
The Congressional Full Employment Caucus was launched last week by Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.). Conyers website says: The Congressional Full Employment Caucus will serve as a platform and working group for Members dedicated to identifying solutions to our current unemployment crisis and advocating for legislative action.
Executive orders issued by a president have the full force of law and do not have to receive approval by the legislative branch of government. During his State of The Union address last week, President Obama made clear he was willing to use executive actions to sidestep Congress.
In addition to Conyers and Lee, members of the caucus include; Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.), Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.), Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), José Serrano (D-N.Y.), and Mike Quigley (D-Ill.).
Doesn’t this yutz understand? She cannot give Obama executive orders. EO’s come from Obama; Congress has nothing to do with them. That’s the problem with EO’s. If this moron wants these things done, then propose them as bills in the House and get them passed. If you can’t do this, that should tell you something about the wishes of the people, now shouldn’t it?
I don’t know but we’ve certainly seen much circumvention of the Constitution from 0bammie so I doubt anyone would call her or her fellow idiots on this.
Is that like the Congressional Black Caucasian Caucus?

Good one...She deserves a Mars trip.
Um... no, they don't
LBJ had a district just for colored people gerrymandered in Houston.
Disband Congress. It serves no purpose anymore.
So the “lawmakers” (Always hated that term) can just write laws and instead of moving them across the floor of the house and senate can just pass it to the executive branch and have him sign it????
SJL needs to be sent to a good school again so she can learn what her role as a representative is...
Anyone can write up a suggestion for an EO and send it to 0bungles and that’s exactly what thousands of leftists are currently doing.
WELLLL THAT CONSTITUTION IS ONE PESKY DOCUMENT I WILL SAY THAT......ONE THOMAS JEFFERSON GOT IT RIGHT I THINK THIS IS THE TIME TO LOOK INTO ONE OF HIS MOST IMPORTANT QUOTE...ESPECIALLY PRESCIENT OF LATE TO WIT:
“In questions of power...let no more be heard of confidence in
man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the
Constitution.” —Thomas Jefferson: Kentucky Resolutions, 1798.

Has become this in congress for Dims:
“Take my Job, please, I’m not using the power entrusted to me anymore”
I see they left a small corridor for the people trapped north of Houston to get in and out.
They are all Republicans?...............
Wow, the Completely Insane Caucus. What wonders will come from this bunch of morons?

Boy, now there’s a bunch of Economics geniuses. I feel much better with them writing up the executive orders for Bamster. It will be interesting to see if any of their proposed orders actually address creating jobs where people would actually work.
