RUSH: Look, I ran into something over the weekend that I want to run by you very soon here after we get through with this segment and at the start the next segment. Everybody's trying to figure out, "Why in the world are the Republicans acting suicidal with this amnesty business?" Everybody. It doesn't make sense no matter how you slice it, unless the Republicans are trying to damage themselves.
That's the only way it makes sense. The only way a Republican push for amnesty and immediate citizenship and all that makes any sense is if, for example, they don't like the Tea Party base and they're gonna do anything they can to anger them and get rid of them. So I ran across a theory that's being bandied about out there, and I'm gonna run it by you, just to show you how wacko this is getting.

Theory has too many moving parts. There has never been any intention to have a house vote on amnesty in this Congress.
As much sa I hate to say it; but, it looks to me like Savage was right. There really is no difference between the 2 parties. I wonder when Rush is goiong to get around to doing the same?
I couldn’t believe it when I heard Rush say that today. It’s exactly what I’ve been thinking - or close to it. The GOPe doesn’t want a Republican majority in Congress, they’re happy just to win their own seats back. They don’t want to change the status quo, and they think the TEA party is the opponent even more than the Democrats….which they are of course.
The TEA party has made astounding successes for such a new grassroots movement. We are changing the Republican Party and taking it back to it’s conservative positions. We are the first group to infiltrate the upper eschelons of government with any success. In the 2014 elections, we will
we will add to those numbers. There is and will be a difference between the DP and the RP. Yes we can!
The GOP simply do not want to be an engaged opposition party while Obama is in the WH. They would happy take the Senate but don’t expect them to govern in a Conservative manner.
McConnell has already let the cat out of the bag. He has said: “We need to wait until 2016”.
I USED to be a conservative Republican, but the Republican Party elite does not want anything to do with actual conservatives. I’m one of the people Mitch McConnell would like to punch in the nose. (It would be fun to see him try...)
I’m still a Conservative, but no longer a Republican. I’m part of a movement looking for a leader.
Sarah Palin is a natural for this, but as far as I can tell she has decided NOT to pick up the mantel of leadership.
Personally, I think she decided demonization by both parties and the national media has damaged her so much that any campaign by her would not be in the best interest of the country or the conservative movement. She is still helping from the sidelines, and I am still sending her money. But I no longer expect her to carry the burden of leadership.
Ted Cruz may be our best hope. He does not have Sarah’s charisma, and so far I do not see him catching fire. Both parties and the national media are trying to destroy him, of course. So far they have not, so perhaps I am under-rating him.
Regardless, the Republican Party will never see another dime of my money and not a minute of my time.
There were ten GOP members of the House willing to oppose Boehner’s leadership and I consider them the real Conservatives. Folks like Massie from KY and Amash from MI and Stockman from TX.
Maybe there are a few more but not that many in the House right now.
If we don’t get enough constitutional conservatives in office to save the US, there’s no point in slowing down the total collapse of the US. We just might be better off if there’s some memory of the way things used to be, when localities have to start over.
Without Tea Party Support, the GOP will not win the Senate. The GOP leadership are the stupidest politicians I have ever seen in my life.

I’ve always said a third party is needed. And if that party when a few seats in congress ask the republicans to caucus with them and see what they say. I guarantee if a third party won 40% of the house the republicans would help elect Pelosi speaker.
Their behavior makes sense IF you assume that the real objective of the Republican Establishment is to maintain the PRETENSE of there being actual opposition to Socialism.
In other words, the Democrat Leadership and the Republican Leadership are just a matching pair of sock-puppets for the Ruling Class.
As long as the Republican Leadership maintains just a pretense, without reality, then they can engage in graft, get invited to the best parties, sleep with cute lobbyists, etc, and the press will not "notice". The nightmare for the Ruling Class, though, is if the "bought" Republicans get replaced by Tea Party candidates who might rock the boat.
We don’t need a third party.
We do need a second party.
As it stands with the GOP Establishment, we only have one.
We have to take our party back.
