You can’t take the goal out of the net, so you play the game. At the end, you get the prize, or you don’t.
You can give that prize away to someone who finds the prize worth having, if you do not.
I can assure you, however, that the decision is one the ENTIRE team is responsible for making, not just the goalie.
In those cases where she never had a choice, THEN and only then is the decision up to her. (Rape, incest)

If a man deliberately impregnates a woman, he needs to take responsibility for that child. The woman has no real choice in the matter...commit murder or give birth.
Infanticide should NEVER be an option. If you don’t want the baby, give it up for adoption. That way, all of those involved in the pregnancy and birth will have what they want. And the baby will be a blessing to couples who have been trying for years to conceive.
Why is that so hard to understand?

Someone wrote me privately and asked what of in the case of rape. I’m very sorry for the rape victim, but I will say in public, I don’t believe murdering the innocent unborn baby is the answer.

I MUST agree with you. No matter the cause of rape, the fetus is alive at the moment of conception. If it is unwanted, then “donate” it to a deserving couple. But for the sake of one’s immortal soul, don’t kill a child out of fear.
