The Pro-Life Action League is joining a nationwide boycott being organized by John Pisciotta of Pro-Life Waco, in Waco, Texas, who has been battling the Girl Scouts for years over their ties to abortion giant Planned Parenthood.
This years nationwide boycott was triggered by the Girl Scouts glowing praise last year for two of the pro-life movements greatest foes: Texas state senator Wendy Davis and Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. The Girl Scouts called Davis as an incredible woman who deserved to be on a list of 2013 Women of the Year, only a few weeks after calling Kathleen Sebelius a woman of courage and character.
girlscouts5Davis rose to national fame for filibustering a Texas law banning late term abortions and requiring abortion facilities to adhere to safety standards, while wearing a pair of pink sneakers. Sebelius is responsible for implementing the pro-abortion provisions of Obamacare, including the infamous HHS Mandate that forces employers to provide free abortion-inducing drugs in their health plans, regardless of any religious or moral objections

When we give humanitarian aid to those countries like North Korea and Pakistan, I am sure they only spend the money on food.
Seriously no matter how cute that Brownie is, the money they collect is fungible and goes to support their LGBT abortion causes. Instead of bying the cookies, tell that cute little Brownie the truth.
Look it up. It’s wrong
At the door? No, they’ve stopped that. They camp out on sidewalks in front of stores
They bring them to school and harass the teachers. They are cultish
I too have not purchased a box of Girl Scout cookies since they made the decision to be part of the anti life crowd. Same thing with the Boy Scouts since they decided to join the pro pedophile crowd. Saw some BS hawking in one of the local grocery stores yesterday. Kindly refused to buy and walked away. So sad because I sure do love the chocolate peanut butter cookies the GS sell.
My girls were only involved briefly with GS, but our troop received only 15 cents per box sold, which at that time ran $3.50 each.
My daughter was a Girl Scout back in the early 1990s. It’s a shame they had to get political; the girls have no idea. I don’t buy the cookies anymore because they are a ripoff.
My daughter was a Girl Scout several years ago. For each $4.00 box of cookies, our troop kept $.50.
The rest went to the local council, and national, and the cookie baker.
My niece is a leader and her daughter a member. They are turning out self-righteous busy bodies. Little green, one world socialists. Avoid and oppose.
I cant support boycotting girl scout cookies because of their alignment with certain social issues since I’m already boycotting them for several other reasons:
1. Girlscouts don’t sell them any more, it’s mostly parents bringing a sheet into work and laying it on a table in the breakroom. The girls learn nothing about entrepreneurship, and everything about asking mom or dad to fix things.
2. The price of the cookies is going up and the cookies themselves are getting smaller at a pace that is far outpacing other commercially produced cookies. Those Samoas are about the size of lifesavers anymore.
3. The margins are terrible as a fundraising vehicle for the troop. If the girls were still learning how to be industrious by hitting the pavement, it would be one thing, but they just park themselves outsode grocery stores or hand order sheets to parents.
Walking right by the girls on the sidewalk selling cookies.
It has nothing to do with money. Would you buy abox if you knew 1 cent from your purchase went to NAMBLA? Is an abortion factory any better?
Y
How are going to let a little girl trying to sell you cookies know you are not buying them because of Olanned Parenthood? This is a SERIOUS question. I will not buy the cookies, but how do we handle this with the innocent kids coming to our door?
Tell them that their organization is full of baby-killing lesbians. That ought to spark a little discussion when they get home.
“At the door? No, theyve stopped that. They camp out on sidewalks in front of stores. They bring them to school and harass the teachers. They are cultish.”
And their parents bring signup sheets to the workplace.
Door-to-door is so obsolete. Besides, somebody might hand the kid a Pro-Life flyer & say, “Show this to your den mother as the reason I can’t buy Girl Scout cookies.”
“Instead of buying the cookies, tell that cute little Brownie the truth.”
Girl Scouts.....
Ooops!
Gloom, despair, and agony on me.
“Gloom, despair, and agony on me.”
For sure. I’ve raised three daughters and I can personally attest to just how vicious adolesent girls can be if they’re crossed :)
