I’ve heard that most money from local girl scout cookie sales stays with local troops for their local activities.

My girls were only involved briefly with GS, but our troop received only 15 cents per box sold, which at that time ran $3.50 each.

My daughter was a Girl Scout back in the early 1990s. It’s a shame they had to get political; the girls have no idea. I don’t buy the cookies anymore because they are a ripoff.
