There are certain groups of people who support gun control for very logical reasons.
Criminals are obviously big fans of gun control because they prefer unarmed victims.
Dictators also are big supporters of gun control because they want unarmed subjects.
Other segments of the population like gun control for inexplicable ideological reasons.
International bureaucrats advocate for gun control because they apparently think government should be daddy and citizens should be children.
Foreign politicians impose gun control because well, Im not sure why, but probably because theyre weenies.
And some American politicians want gun control because it appears they viscerally oppose individual freedom.
But Im at a loss to understand why other segments of the population are on the wrong side of the gun issue. Why, for instance, does the National Football League have a policy prohibiting this very simple and innocuous ad from airing during the Super Bowl?

I think a look on the field will answer the question, at least for anybody who cares to see.
Just don’t watch NFL football anymore.
I haven’t watched it in years. My attitude is that if I have to mortgage my house to buy a ticket to a game, I ain’t interested.
High School football is still about $2 a ticket and a thousand times more exciting.
The NFL is seriously tanking under the stewardship of Commish Goodell.
“Why, for instance, does the National Football League have a policy prohibiting this very simple and innocuous ad from airing during the Super Bowl?”
Because the NFL gets tax free status to mouth the wishes of the government. Simple, follow the money.
If the NFL became vociferous in a position favorable to the second amendment, O dummy’s IRS would immediately revoke their non tax status.
The NFL is every bit a member of the rotten establishment.
The talent pool is so diluted as it is, you have teams forced to turn a blind eye top red flags that should disqualify a player.
(Think Aaron Hernandez)
It has gotten so bad that the NFL is the National Felons League.
They need to DROP two teams, Thursday nights and the bye week, cut preseason to two games and only play West coast teams on Sunday night.
Definitely seems like it is an ‘arm of the Govt’.
How else to you get ICE and DHS to handle security for a Football Game?
Lets see, you can’t carry anything into the stadium unless it fits in a CLEAR, plastic bag, NO tailgating this year.
News broadcasts telling of be early because of long security check point lines.
Already can’t smoke in stadium, maybe if they were to stop alcohol sales (too much revenue for that to happen) they would manage to completely shut down the fan base.
Way things are going, a trip to the airport will be easier and less intrusive than going to an NFL Football Game.
The colleges ‘learned’ years ago, take Government Money, you are under Government thumb and rules.
The Animal Planet’s Kitty Bowl and Puppy Bowl are the only bowls I’ll be watching today.
Most NFL players carry guns.
This shows up when a lot of them get arrested.
So it’s management, not labor that’s promoting this policy.
“The NFL is seriously tanking under the stewardship of Commish Goodell.”
Football is becoming unwatchable garbage. Goodell and his lawyer friends are ruining it.
I get trashed on this forum for pointing this out, but professional sports is not with us They are too dependent on taxpayer handouts.
I work for JnJ, and it is an international company with foreign investors, engineers etc... guess what. These bigots consider christians and gun owners as a local embarassment, treating us worse than Ignorant Africans, when their Japanese partners come over. What they are doing is lowering the level of discussion for a get along pimping agenda. It does not turn well because others have survived without Christianity, and Americans are not meant to fare well without this guidance.
Just like the Games of Rome, the NFL is being bought by barbarians and Rome is turning wussy. Rome has become greedy and accomodating.
In the case of the NFL, I would refer to the story of Spartacus as a hint. If the nfL players rose against the One... yep.
At the end of the day...
I, and MANY others will, without any doubt retain our right to keep and bear arms...And the hardware to support back it up...
What a shame that these people do not recognize, or respect that right enough to just leave it alone...
That’s ok...We will fight when the time comes...And no one will be happy at that point...
Expansion could happen in the NFL? Wow.
Well, if it happens, follow the money. Some NFL franchises such as Dallas Cowboys, are said to be worth over a Billion dollars. I could imagine the NFL owners charging north of $500 million for expansion franchises in this exclusive club they have. And when leagues expand, the existing owners split the money. It’s an easy money source to add expansion teams.
I think 32 teams is plenty, but, money may well talk.
If I watch the game, I watch it on TV. You are exactly right it’s ridiculous what they charging for the seats. I understand the cheapest seats are well over a thousand bucks
One percenters playing a game in front of a live audience made up of one percenters trying to appeal to common folk by taking away their guns.
The NFL.
The only place in America where there is a bigger concentration of millionaire criminals is in Congress.
The commercial they wouldn’t allow

FU Goodell!! If you wanna keep all political ads out that’s fine. Allowing lib ads only, is NOT.
Goodell is a bitch.
