When is California going to come up with a couple desalination plants?
LOL’s
GLOBAL WARMING will be the mantra....
Never let a crisis go to waste.
“...the State Water Project announced Friday that it wont send any more water down from Northern California...”
Hmmm, time for Southern California to announce it will no longer send tax money to Sacramento! FUJB...FUNP...FUBB...
When you compare the cost of desalination against the cost of transporting water long distances, desalination isn’t cost prohibitive. The further you have to pipe (or ship) water, the more economic desalination becomes.
This isn’t going to end well for Moonbeam and his cadre of progressives.
During the ice ages, the climate belts collapsed from three to two. Instead of temperate, tropical and polar bands, there was a tropical equator and everything else cold.
During a temperate period, the winds blow Pacific moisture onto the mountains, creating a temperate, Mediterranean climate.
There are climatic studies that say that during an ice age, the winds blow primarily from the East Coast inland. California dries out, while the interior up to the Rockies is wetter.
The drying out of California could easily be a reversion to Ice Age conditions. And all the polar vortices support that conclusion as well.
I hate to say it
I think our Hippie guru Governor Jerry Brown going be reelect some in SO CAL are are just sheeps
The dumb arses in Kalifornia should have, years ago, started building desalinization plants. Instead they're wasting good taxpayer bucks on "renewable energy". Today, still, there is no mention of the future of water in the state.
Another reason to get the hell out.
I live in the SF Valley and I am going to water the heck out of my lawn and flowers if I choose. Let them raise price as needed, and I will make the allocation decisions with MY earned dollars, not Comrade Jerry Brown!
The next 1%ers.
Barbara Streisand’s water bill is about $2,000.00 a month.
To paraphrase the late Sam Kinnison, “Move to where the f’n water is!!!!! Oh!!! Ohhhhh!!!!!!!!”
Yea, but remember, California is like a bowl of granola.... What’s not fruits and nuts is flakes...
Kalifornia could send a few million illegals out of the state until it rains.
As will millions of illegals granted amnesty.
I hope the delta smelt aren’t hurt by drought conditions. We all know the perfect flow of water has been maintained forever and ever until manmade global warming.
