Arizona Republican Governor Jan Brewer agrees with Texas Senator Ted Cruzs prognosis that their party will suffer if it pursues amnesty for illegal aliens this year.

Arizona Governor Jan Brewer today slammed the latest push for amnesty for illegals, saying she's heard promises of increased border security after amnesty before, and she isnt buying it: How many times do we have to go through this? The border needs to be secured.
Brewer also shocked her interviewer when he asked what she would do with the illegals already here: Throw them out, Brewer said, which the FoxNews host called "harsh".

Didn’t she embrace Obamacare?
No problem...I have those pangs of compassion when I get dragged up in a personal story - the media is really good at that. They, however, aren’t doing the stories because of the compassion you or I would have; they are doing it for a nefarious and misleading purpose.
soetoro and his RINO cohorts will now double-down.
Absolutely. There are a lot of laws that are being broken that if Illegal Immigrants are given a get-out-of-jail-free card, will violate the Equal Protection Clause.
First and foremost the border needs to be secure to prevent TERRORISTS.
Second, anyone here illegally at the Most after all applicable laws are applied, fines paid, will NEVER ATTAIN CITIZENSHIP, they may get a renewable work visa. Renewable yearly and if they have committed crimes, etc., deported just like LEGAL immigrants if they have committed felonies which using false or stolen Identification is.
It’s not just “crossing the border”. The evasion of laws, Selective Service, evasion of income taxes or fraudulent refunds, cost of services to the communities in which they “reside” is enormous.
I’ve lived here my entire life. I’ve seen first hand the cost and destruction (human lives) that Illegal Immigration brings.
They want to be a citizen? Go back to their home country and apply legally.
What law breaking should we excuse or encourage next John McShamnesty?
Yes!
Another yes!
Those good people snuck across our border like thieves in the night. Or paid coyotes. Or deliberately overstayed visas. Are they working here? If so, whose identity did they steal in order to do so? If they're not working, then they must be taking other taxpayer-funded benefits to which they're not entitled. Are their kids in the public schools? Do they have driver's licenses, or do they drive without them? Do they have medical insurance, or do they use the emergency room for their medical care?
Nobody who does all those things is a "good person."
“I used to live there in Arizona. Many of the illegals are good people and I hope we can help them. “
I currently live in Arizona. There are too many illegals sponging off the system. We are paying too much for schools and hospitals to give them a free ride.
My wife is an immigrant - a LEGAL immigrant. She has family in the Philippines who would be glad to come to the USA, but then....Filipinos are expected to come LEGALLY, as are all the other “good people” who want to move to the US. I fail to see why Mexicans are given preferential treatment to the Chinese, Filipinos, Nigerians, etc.
“There must be some set of things the US can ask them to do to get on the path to the right side of US law.”
Yes. LEAVE. Then apply for LEGAL entry. Live by the same rules EVERY OTHER COUNTY’S CITIZENS live by!
I live in Arizona and most of the illegals are not good people. They sre people who lie, steal, take identities and jobs, fight, drive drunk, and hate Americans and. America. Many are bankrolled in their wish to get here. And in the case of Mexicans they still have a home to go back to. We can have compassionate hearings for the sick and thr kids, but the rest should go back to a booming Mexico.
That said, I know the border and the only way to close it is to fine employers harshly with enforced e-verify. It is impossible to physically completely close.
They are coming like ants sgain. I was behind a truck which came out of desert i middle of had back open and clothes thrown over them. wiggling people.
We should be throwing them out. Try to go live illegally in Mexico.
Most of the Business Socialists, like Stuart Varney, support Illegal Alien Amnesty. Heck, Fox News supports Illegal Alien Amnesty

Yes, she does. But, don't let that fact delude you into thinking she's a conservative and on our side. She's on her own side, and that place is in John McQueeg's corner. She fought against his Censure last weekend tooth and nail, and has vetoed every pro-gun bill that arrived on her desk once her reelection was secured.
That is correct. I would like to find a way to help people who come to work. When they decide their preferred occupation is robbing and killing, then I'm all for deporting them, after they face the harshest of penalties, which in some cases means we send them back in a body bag. If it's prison, it needs to be like the prison back home, otherwise it's just a vacation from poverty.
Yes and no. She declined to set up a state Insurance Exchange, but she rammed through Medicaid expansion. And I'm pretty sure AZ was part of the lawsuit against Obastardcare.
God forbid someone would speak up for the American taxpayer citizen against this unholy alliance of domestic marxists and crony capitalists
Illegal aliens out, reduce legal immigration, especially mexicans
Repeal the immigration Act of 1965
This is kind of a "Duh." I don't know why this isn't being done. If the jobs they say they are coming for are closed to them, it would be more effective than any fence.
I agree with you. I wish it were somebody other than her doing it. She has as much credibility as Juan McQueeg on any given subject.
Right...!
As for Varney, what can I say? His words speak for themselves...!
I agree - and lets deport them.
