That is a good part of the problem in dealing with N.Korea. None of the adjoining nations want them either for obvious reasons.
It’s a serious issue that has no simple solutions, for even after some of the people who escaped have been helped they still desire to go back. They’re like a population of abused and fearful woman who’ve been beaten down and accustomed to an abusive husband. They haven’t a clue about making decisions, even the most simple ones we make every day.
The best thing that could happen would be China taking the place over.
And that feels weird to even think let alone type.
