As many people watch the Super Bowl for the commercials as they watch it for the game itself.
Since the event has become prime time for commercials, advertisers go all out for the Super Bowl and it's become increasingly difficult to create an ad that stands out from the pack.
These are the commercials that stood out above and beyond the competition throughout Super Bowl history.

My favorite was the Labador puppy with the Clydesdale horse.
...most people remember this one, but it was only shown ONCE.
During the game

The second ad was far better than the one they call the “best ever”.
Great ads.

This is my favorite - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHs45DUYvSI
Remember 9/11
Sequal to last year’s.
Here's another that I like.
Best ever SB ad was the Pepsi vs Coke ad with the lab chimp. I saw it once, I guess 14 - 15 years ago, and it still makes me laugh.
It never shows up on lists like this, but it is my favorite.
This One in 1994? (ahem, 20 years ago)
Cosell was going on one Monday night about the lethargic play of the game.
“Rather lack-luster performances tonight. Reminds me of some of the performances of your two respective teams. Right, Frank & Don?”
There was a short pause, then Don Meredith said, “Well, Howard, at least Frank and I HAVE respective teams.”
Cosell did not say a WORD for about 20 minutes!
I loved it!
OMG I have tears in my eyes. They sure know how to tug the heart strings. I guess that’s what ads are supposed to do.
That’s it!
Dang. 20 years.
Dang.
I hope that all the beer-loving beer-drinking football fans will send a small contribution to help support wild horse sanctuaries. Otherwise, gorgeous horses are needlessly and inhumanely SLAUGHTERED.
Just my humble opinion.
Wow, never saw that one..........beautiful!
