President Obama says he wants to focus his administration´s efforts on closing the income gap between rich and poor, and Republicans in Congress have vowed to make immigration reform a top priority this year.
Both are wildly out of touch with the American public, according to the latest IBD/TIPP Poll.
When asked which should be a top priority of the president and Congress, 49% say the economy and jobs. Another 16% say it should be the national debt. Nine percent name national security.
Just 6% list income inequality as a top priority, and the same minuscule share say it should be immigration.

JOB: Just Over Broke
Jobs = income inequality
Income inequality = Jobs
Jobs is the income for most people not interest, dividends or rent. Get a clue restore MADE IN USA. Exporting jobs causes income inequality. It’s not that the rich are getting too much. It’s the rest of the country that is getting too little.
Just get government out of the way. Too big, too expensive, too controlling, too corrupt, too incompetent and too un-American.
AND....
we have a democrat president who destroyed healthcare, created record deficits, hideous entrenched unemployment, 5 years of recession etc etc.
And what do republicans say. “We’ll bend over and do anything the president and democrats want, no matter how little the people care about it, no matter how unpopular the president is, just please please don’t hurt us, sob sob”
If these cowardly turds can’t act now, then when will they EVER?
Ironically the GOPe/RINOS are the ones we usually associate with wanting to follow polls.
Too bad what your concerns are, peeps! If 0 thinks income equality is a priority...I guarantee you it’s a priority!
Try getting the government out of the way of business. Gut the epa, disband nea, let companies compete for talent. Tax imports. Let government contract for one purpose only....national defense.
“Providing jobs” is nothing more than a vote buying scheme no matter the party. Only citizens vote. Get out of the safety net business.
KYPD
Even if he wanted to, the Communist In Chief nor any of his people have any idea how to create a job. Unless its a government job that is.
Congress should pass a jobs bill:
1) Approve Keystone XL Pipeline.
2) Exempt Corporations and Non-Union Individuals from ObamaCare.
3) Get Rid of Dodd-Frank.
4) Implement FairTax.
5) Abolish EPA and nulify all EPA regulations.
6) Clean out Democrat hacks at ther IRS.
7) Empower a panel of freepers to review all federal regulations.
