Mitt Romney leads the Republican field among New Hampshire primary voters for 2016. Yes, you read that right.
Why not make it a third run for president? That's something that the former Republican nominee is definitely not thinking about right now. To put it in his own recent words: "Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no."
But that didn't stop the Virginia-based bipartisan policy firm Purple Strategies from adding his name to a recent survey for Granite State voters, which shows Romney in the lead with 25 percent support. Libertarian firebrand Rand Paul (who has strong infrastructure in New Hampshire) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie are behind with 18 percent and 17 percent support, respectively.
We might be experiencing Mittmentum 3.0. The Netflix documentary about his 2008 and 2012 presidential campaigns was recently released to the excitement of political insiders everywhere. GOP insiders want him to come back: "You know what a lot of them say to me?" an anonymous "operative" told BuzzFeed. "I think we need Mitt back." Romney was even on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon to slow jam the news.
So are we sure he's not running again? "People are always gracious and say, 'Oh, you should run again,' " he said in an interview earlier this month. "I'm not running again."
He's done this kind of race before. He's got the staff. He's got the loyalty. He has the money. Time has passed.
Is there a chance? "I think that Chris Christie and Paul Ryan and Jeb Bush and Scott Walker, and the list goes on, have a much better chance of doing that," he said in the same interview, "and so I will support one of them as they become the nominee."
Maybe, maybe not.
Actually today Rush called Willard “a Northeast Moderate” ..
I was so shocked I yelled at Rush not to give me a heart attack ...
Scott Walker/Tim Scott, 2016
Hey, we’ve done lots worse.
Pragmatically, progressive = communist
how do u pronounce “meh”? acc to dict. it is me; but i thought the h was pronounced.
Paging TED CRUZ.. TED CRUZ, please report to the nominating podium.
Much of that 75% only show up during the primaries to browbeat people. They do not contribute in any other way to the dialogue or the site.
Have you ever even set foot in Massachusetts? I've lived here all my life.As a result I can attest to the fact that he's no Reagan...no Palin....no Cruz. But he's light years...LIGHT YEARS...better than Osama Obama, the Former Twelfth Lady and Princess Liawatha (who I met briefly...she's even filthier in person than on film).
Oh Heck, NO!
“Oh, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no.”

Willard is such a political slut ...
His No means Maybe...
His Maybe means Yes...
We’re so doomed. Dunno why anybody thinks 2014 and 2016 are going to be good.
You walk into a showroom and say “I want a Cadillac”
And the salesman says “oh great! we have this nice Honda over here”
And you say “No, I want a Cadillac there appear to be 6 Cadillacs on your lot”
And the salesman says “Ok well the favorite in all the magazines is this lovely Honda we have”
And you say “No, I want THIS Cadillac, the green one” and he says “No you can't have that one because because its not as good as this Honda, which is the favorite in the car and driver magazine just coming out this month”
And you go on this way over and over and over and they just don't seem to want to you to have a Cadillac.
Then later you learn he has part ownership in the Honda dealership...
I am workign in New Hampshire right now...
Romney will not be the nominee if I have to personally drive to everyone’s house and stop them.
This makes no sense. None. Not from a perspective of whether one likes him or not, but just from a party point of view.
If the GOP can’t come up with something “better” than what lost last time - then they have no effin clue what they’re doing. None at all.
And the same goes for Santorum. He has no chance to win either, so I sure hope the GOP doesn’t “fall back” on him.
I haven’t heard a name bantered about yet that really excites me. Whoever it is will need to win states that are becoming bluer and bluer because at the end of the day, it’s the MATH that counts, and right now, we’re already starting the game with 2 out in the 9th. And that’s with one of the $hittiest Presidents in ages.
I know a lot can happen in 2+ years, but just as the rumblings are obvious about Hildebeast, we should be hearing more obvious rumblings too. And it’s not Christie....and probably not Palin either.
