Federal prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, accused of orchestrating last year’s Boston Marathon bombing along with his brother Tamerlan, the Justice Department announced Thursday.
“After consideration of the relevant facts, the applicable regulations and the submissions made by the defendant’s counsel, I have determined that the United States will seek the death penalty in this matter,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said in a statement. “The nature of the conduct at issue and the resultant harm compel this decision.”
Authorities say the Tsarnaev brothers plotted the backpack bomb attack that killed three people and injured hundreds of others on April 15.

Doogie the Terrorist will not get the death penalty, though he deserves it. He’ll get all the cushy benefits that threatening the United States can bring to a terrorist. A life of ease at the cost of the citizens he caused to lose their freedom, in that awful, unConstitutional “lockdown” of an American city.

Why don’t they just give him a free sex-change operation.
They'll milk him for everything he's willing to spill....after they promise him life without chance of parole in a plea deal.
Why will he probably not burn or get the needle?......because federal death sentences ARE RARELY CARRIED OUT.
The federal government (in comparison to the separate states) applies the ultimate sentence for certain crimes: treason, espionage, federal murder, large-scale drug trafficking and, in certain cases, attempted murder of a witness, juror or court officer.
ONLY TWENTY-SIX federal (including military) executions have been carried out SINCE 1950 !
As of January 19, 2004, fifty-nine men and two women are on Death Row in federal slammers.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's chances of living to an unripe old age are pretty darn good....whether he sings like bird or not.

marty walsh, mayor of boston, voted against the death penalty as a state senator. at his press conference he was asked if he is still against the death penalty.
he said he is against the death penalty but supports holder’s decision. do liberals have even a scrap of integrity?

That’s all well and good, but I’m more interested in what’s going to be done to prevent terrorists from coming here and staying.

If he really knows anything, I'd rather stick him in Florence Supermax for the rest of his miserable life, and trade him snickers bars for corroborated information.
Probably should blow off his legs and let him lie on a sidewalk in Boston for an hour or so. Seems fair, he did it to a kid and and didn’t think it was “cruel and unusual.”
