Each week, it seems another Democrat lawmaker announces their retirement from Congress. On Thursday, Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) joined the growing list. It is only January, but 11 Democrat lawmakers have said they are quitting at the end of this current term.

Dems seem to have gotten the heebie jeebies. Is this why? (cackle). As far back as 2008, at the presidential debate in Nashville, Democrat candidate Obama advanced his signature plan that was ultimately enacted (by an historic straight Democrat party-line vote) into the "Affordable Care Act :
OBAMA: "No. 1, let me just repeat, if youve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it. All Im going to do is help you to lower the premiums on it. Youll still have choice of doctor.
Repeated over and over ---- with the promise that every American family would be saving $2500.00 on healthcare costs.
LOCK-STEPPING PARTY LOYALTY NOT SEEN SINCE 1930-40's ERA EUROPE Obama And The Dumbos marched in lockstep. The persistent Dumbocrat drumbeat ---- in obeisance to Obama ---- kept ringing reassuringly in our ears: "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan."
Good riddance to henry nose hair wax man.
OH YA! That is the ticket, the bastards! Destroy everything and then get out of Dodge.
Henry Rat-man. Wow!
Utah 4 and a North Carolina seat are pretty well givens among the 11 as Republican pick-ups—there is a California seat (I think 30) which is likely a loss, though the Pub is running (thanks to the jungle primary and a whole bunch of about equal liberals running, the top two vote getters in 2012 happened to be the only two Pubs running).
if true, thank God.
ROFL!
Many know some trials will be held down the road and want to cover their a$$.
Capito (WV) is not the best candidate for Senate. She's a moderate at best and rather squishy on many issues.
Conservative constitutionalist Pat McGeehan is running for the WV US Senate seat, and deserves our support.
“Hes retiring so he can become a truffle-hunter in southern France.”
As they say on the British TV show “Top Gear,” “Some say he can hear through his nose, all we know is that they call him The Schmuck.”
40 years on the gubmint teat is a ‘casualt’y?
One day we will hunt them like the Jews did the Nazis after the war. Most will be found living comfy in some third world country.
Maybe he will be sniffing luggage in an airport.
It’s because they see it coming, just like we do:

Waxman may be gone, but it’ll be a cold day in Hell before his seat goes to the GOP.
“Maybe he will be sniffing luggage in an airport.”
Or girl’s bicycle seats on hot days! When you look in the dictionary under “POS,” they’ve posted a picture of ole Henry.
The actual rat jumped ship! Bye bye Waxwork!
I think it would be safe to say that Grimm has lost the GOP Seat for us in New York after threatening to throw a reporter over the balcony Tuesday night after the SOTU speech.
I haven’t been keeping up on current events in that much detail—I saw the headline, but didn’t know who made the comment, or more importantly, where they are from. My general impression of New York districts is that you are probably on the money—there are two sorts of NY districts—Democratic and swing. The question is whether or not he will drop out rather than lose.
