Republican gains and President Obama's weakness have Democrats on their heels, preparing to fight for Senate seats they never thought they would have to defend and hoping that 2016 will give them a chance to win back the Senate if they lose it next year.

How will we notice the change?

And then Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski will become “independents” because “the party will have moved away from them” like Jim Jeffords, Arlen Specter, and Lincoln Chafee.
We need a heavy sweep like 1980 or 1994, to counter the moderates in the party who live to help the democrats.
Shamnesty trumps all.
I am reaching the point where I don’t care.
Did anyone read about the GOP(E) response by Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) to the State of the Coup? Don’t want to repeal ObamaCare? Didn’t mention Benghazi or Obama’s overt support of Al Qaeda in Syria? Didn’t condemn Obama’s intentions to govern by fiat?
Why the heck should I vote these wastes of skin?
We won’t. The GOPe will still push Leftist crap off on us complaining they don’t have a super-majority.
And so the Democrats will still rule the day, despite being in the minority. Works in the House constantly...
Ain’t gonna happen if the GOP pushes Illegal Alien Amnesty, and not ending ObamaCare.
Seems every RINOCrat publication keeps pushing a GOP takeover when the GOP is trying to commit political suicide
Republican bathrooms will no longer be obligated to be gender neutral and TG friendly.
Admittedly 'required' is the key word.
More legislation that the Rats support will go through.
Collins, Murkowski, or McCain will "reach across the aisle."
If the margin is very tight, I wouldn't be surprised to see them work out a deal to keep Harry Reid in the "majority leader" chair, even without a numerical majority. Collegiality and comity, my FRiends.
I wonder how much help the RAT Party is going to toss at Cornyn in the TEXAS Primary.
I'm not seriously studying any/all of the races. It's my gut feeling that there will be a weak turnout. The GOP will again bet on the lesser of two evils to work for them. I don't think it will this time.
I didn’t hear the GOP Establishment response to SOTU, but I did hear that it went over like a cold turd on a hot rock.
The official GOP response was pitiful. The GOP speech should directly respond to the BS in Obama’s speech. We don’t need a rehearsed “nicey nice aren’t I cute” low key uninspiring reply. We needed someone who can think quickly and is good at debating, maybe Ted Cruz. I was very disappointed in the Republican response.
“I didnt hear the GOP Establishment response to SOTU, but I did hear that it went over like a cold turd on a hot rock.’
Apt description. The woman should have donned an apron and walked on camera with a plate full of freshly-baked cookies. TG for Rand Paul and Mike Lee.
Actually, maybe having the GOPe turds “move forward on immigration,” could be a good thing, pushing the “Republican Pussies” who support the GOPe (along with the Indies) toward the TP candidates. It doesn’t mean a whole hell of a lot to have the GOP “take” the Senate as long as we have McConnell and the others of his ilk who are standing for election at the end of the day.
If the GOP wins a majority of seats, someone will switch parties again. You can bet on it.
The Pubbies institute a power sharing agreement with the RAT’s, in the interest of bi-partisanship.
Yeah, but WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!?
