Senate previews complete, GOP set to gain 6 seats, earn majority
Election Projection ^ | January 29, 2014 | Scott Elliott

I'm done with my Senate race previews. And after flipping the North Carolina Senate Election to red due to yet another poll showing incumbent Democrat Kay Hagan falling behind, Election Projection has the GOP projected to gain 6 seats at this early stage in the election cycle. Of course, that means if these projections hold true, Republicans will claim the majority in the 2014 Senate Elections.

I will be happy to join you at the polls if the GOP does not pass amnesty.

If the GOP passes amnesty, the GOP is finished.
So, it really won’t matter who goes to the polls.

“Of course, replacing Lindsey Graham with a conservative is equivalent to flipping a seat, except on issues of Senate Leadership.”
*****************************************************************
And it’s equally important as far as who ends of in the leadership of the Senate Republican caucus. Little Lindsey would support McConnell or his equivalent. Any of Lindsey’s Republican primary challengers would want more conservative leadership in the caucus.

RINOs in the leadership have too many opportunities for sabotage—which they regularly don’t pass up. We need a more conservative Republican caucus in the Senate.

...and if we’re lucky, they’ll be just as effective with the leadership as the House was.

...crying me a river!

“Do NOT sit out any election. That is EXACTLY what the RATs and the GOP Establishment want you to do.”

No kidding! It absolutely amazes me that there are people who, if they don’t get what they want, take their marbles and go home. “Thanks” to guys like “mountain whateverheis,” we don’t even get half a loaf, but he feels “so good” about the “lesson” his “teaching” the GOPe. Just isn’t the mark of someone who is actually thinking about the situation. Major immaturity!

Sitting out elections - classic example of insanity - doing the same thing over and over again expecting the same result.

So keep voting for the lesser evil. It's worked out great thus far.

I refuse to support any politician that is openly hostile to every conservative value. Unfortunately, a lot of Republicans would vote for John Kerry f he had a “R” next to his name.

Must be great to be a Rino. First they insist from their high horse that everybody else wants purity but them, nearly always get their surrender monkeys nominated, sabotage genuine conservatives, scream bloody murder blaming their own side for not voting enough after each loss...rinse and repeat.

Exactly, and we need to make this clear. Vote Amnesty = no vote for you. I wouldn’t sit the election out...if there is a half-ass congressman in Alabama doesn’t mean you shouldn’t vote for Jess Sessions, etc. In my opinion anyway.

I can understand his frustration, though.

I’m hopeful that when it comes down to the bottom line, he’ll do the right thing.

Other than Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin, I have yet to see the ideal candidate and I keep looking very hard.

Wait until your RINO speaker passes amnesty. There will be tens of millions
of “immature” conservatives, like me.

w/all due respect; this poll (really) represents nothing, it's far too early..
reason being the (Congressional Ldrs. class) GOP/e are committed to
lose any/all election..can everyone rem: a more ideological corrupt
Republican Ldrs?
..we're not talking about the Marxists (that's a given :)

Not once nor twice, but seemingly they have dropped the ball, struck out
@ the plate every conceivable opportunity..if you need proof, look at what
they're advocating
..they're not coherent; disrupting/destroying their basic
beliefs..talk about power corrupting...

People are fooling themselves if they think amnesty won’t cause the GOP to lose seats

“I’m hopeful that when it comes down to the bottom line, he’ll do the right thing.”

You mention also “his frustration.” We are all frustrated, mightily so. That said, it doesn’t do any good to “sit out” elections. We have Obama (twice now) because there were substantial numbers of “people on the right” who stayed home largely because “their preferred candidate” didn’t win the primary. The GOP hasn’t put up anyone that I like for decades, but I can’t see how staying home accomplishes anything but making it easier for the RATs to take away our freedom, wholesale. To be sure, as others have pointed out, we need to field thoroughly vetted conservative candidates and support them. This is the year where that’s going to be particularly important in light of all the “retirements” on both sides coupled with the fact that we have excellent TP folks working to unseat the GOPe jerks. And FWIW, last night showed me at least, that Obama is circling the bowl even with those have voted for him in the past.

I couldn’t agree more with you.

2014 should be a banner year for TP Conservatives. We need to hit the polls and hit them hard.
