I won’t say McCain is insane. Suffice it to say I totally disagree with his approach to most things. Yet, he keeps getting reelected, so he can stand on that and claim to have the support of most Americans. We aren’t going to change him. If Americans don’t want the US to arm rebels in Syria, then we need to quit sending the likes of McCain to DC. That is the fundamental first step toward reigning in the federal government. We have to change the people who run it!

BTW, that’s not an easy proposition, because the McCains of this world have considerable power. I don’t count out any of them, because they will do nearly anything to hang onto power. It will take a populist political revolution of epic proportions to kick the bastards out. I know of no nicer way to sum it up.
